  2. Polydor Down Under if its of use...
  3. I’ve noticed allot of member locations, i.e, the written location on the profile do not match the map... mine doesn’t, the pin is bucks, but I live in Wales... unless the location feature maybe helps with spammers like your recent Indian post Mike, it's fun, but I don’t think that map is all that necessary.
  4. Ralph, the USA release of Porgy and the Monarchs suffers dreadfully from distortion on 'Think Twice' on the Styrene copies they did, whats' the Italian press like? Malc
  5. Hi all, just the one today. Satin – Your loves Got Me / Say You Will / Shell Promo copy EX++ £1000 This is of course Lennie Satin, of 'Homebound / Somebody Help Me' fame on FIP Records, with the first, the best and the rarest version of this classic Chicago track. They come up for sale but no often, and not in Excellent condition. This one is a great copy, clean play and label, with just a few light marks that do not effect the sound. Scans of both labels, and a shot so you can see it sparkle below. best Malcolm ---- I prefer direct Bank Transfer, but you can pay by PayPal either Friends & Family if I know you, or you pay Pay Pal fees if I don't. 8. To open this out a bit but stay with the top 10/20 format, I found this online I hadn't seen before, slight change to LP tracks, andf all with 'Diana', we like Motown Lp tracks on here... and some great photography! Ian Philips is obviously a big soul fan! So, keep em coming and I'll pubish a Soul Source Fans top 10 for the Supremes.. which will EXCLUDE 'Nathan Jones' ! sorry that song has gotta go... https://ianphillipssite.wordpress.com/2021/08/06/the-top-10-albums-by-the-supremes-with-diana-ross/
  9. From pillowy pop to foot-stomping beats: The Supremes’ 20 best songs – ranked! from the Guardian. You know its a traffic driver given it's linked to the Guardian Music channels, but overall a bit vague in that they seem to have listed a few post 1970, i.e without Diana, but called it 'Supremes' so I guess that gets round that... no mention of any of the early tracks 'Buttered Popcorn' et al, I guess 'No Hit Supremes' tracks don't cut the mustard here, and no pictures of Cindy Birdsong or Jean Terrell, or any of the later members of the goup. That said, I'd have added the following tracks, You've Been So Wonderful To Me, He's All I Got, & Take a look Inside, which I guess are less known the general public, but still very very good songs. Any body up for re doing this list, and what would you add? https://www.theguardian.com/music/article/2024/jun/06/from-pillowy-pop-to-foot-stomping-beats-the-supremes-20-best-songs-ranked
  10. My local Vally Soul club, thing is I could never find it... !
  11. WOW, They dunnit again.... Brilliant music, Pitched, Pressed and Presented in a way you just can't say no... Well done guys, more killer releases
  12. Really Great 45, I remember this track was always on the scan sheet for Rob Pheasant's sales list, dont know if he actually had it for sale, but I clocked it quickly but could never find a copy... I'm guessing a Stafford spin? given the kind of track it is...
  13. God dam your hard Dobber! lol OK, from the big list above, I checked, most came out else where, stand by Keith & Billie - Taste Sour Don't It / Picadilly, although Penned by Jimmy Radcliff over there, it only ever got a release in the UK, as far as I can see. Until of course his son Chris Radcliffe cut those acetates, well over a decade ago...BIG man obviously did release it last year of course, but not their version.
  14. Another UK Production that went nowhere... Ken Roland - Fly My Kite
  15. This is a good one, but its kinda mix of loads of tracks, but independantly written by Biddu Appaiah. Bit of Four Tops, and I hear the same arrangment as Billy Ocean, different lyrics.. and he even used 'Build me up Buttercup' at one point, it's more like a 'Pastiche' then anything else... but UK released... Jimmy James - A Man Like Me

  20. Think it was put out initially by the secret Stash M-Pac Lp's, probably an acetate play before that, looks like Charly might have either sub licenced it from them, or who ever has the tapes now, I think that all went south at Secret Stash didnt it, I cant remember the story behind it... That was it, was on The One-Derful! Collection Vol. 3 - M-Pac Records
