  1. Hi there, interested to see what Aussie stuff is about just now, if you have something to sell get in touch with what it is, what you want... prefer 45s in their orig Aussie sleeves, but not essential anything above Ex ++ play and label condition pls... Always interested in any Festival white label tests, and any good W&G releases, and Astor stuff, also good NZ labels... thanks in advance mal :-)
  2. Etta James - Can’t shake it aware this is on YT with a flying witch label, can’t say I’ve ever seen one for sale, did it come out? If anybody has a FW copy or white label dub, I’m interested, Sound quality must be excellent... thanks in advance malcolm
  3. Not really, Such discussed and debated release I’d imagine some Motown nut might have suggested a test press? Anyhow very exciting, looking forward to finding out more....
  4. Looks like all the action is going on in FB.... we wait till tomorrow to find out from where ...
  5. 172 views, one reply.... folk ain’t touching this one: :-) where from Pete, and how come nobody has ever mentioned it before?
  6. Spooky & Sue, chuck’s is great in parts but I hate the opening, moments sits in the middle to my ears....
  7. Of course, you pay for tracks within your budget. Ive always thought record collectiing kinda mirrored other things in society, you know in a very basic way, I’m sure folk reading this would agree, it’s fooking madness at the moment everywhere! Lol gettig back to the nub of the thread, I can’t influence anybody, all I can do is vote with my feet, and just don’t buy em, let some other idiot waste their money... ten pound cheapie anybody?
  8. Very true, always lots of lesser known at affordable prices....
  9. You can say the same about all his Soul Galore 45s... every one a winner...,
  10. I won’t name them, but there are a few dealers it’s actually become harder to buy from... and thee are a few folk that obviously play polka, they wait a few rounds then trump every value by to the power of ten! Just my view of course, but if I’m feeling it others must be also... taken the fun out of it..,
  11. Asking the value of your records on Facebook groups and forums! Does anybody think there is more of that than actual sales going on? Should be.a pre cursor right, well it’s well and truly taken the fun out of record collecting, because after you have had 5/6 conflicting prices, nobody is the wiser as far as I can see...
  12. You may need to know that this has two label colours, red more common, blue allot less and generally goes for more...
  13. So this really is s lone track, says No. 10. Which could be the first release, gonna check a few deep sites cause if that was their bag at Unidad, there should be more...
  14. Hi all, this is slightly random; but I'm learning Spanish at the moment and was reading some course work when the opening chapter said 'Unidad' with an illustration of a handshake, obviously being a Label geek, my brain instantly returned an image of the brilliant Lee Bonds 45.... "Ahhhhhhh!! that's what it means, Ive always wondered," then I tried to explain this new found fact to my Spanish tutor, "Si Significa unidad" with a quizzical look. Lol Anyhow its a very interesting label this, I wonder what else came out ? Mal.C

  20. Why not.., Pete, Got any other NZ or Aussie for sale?
  21. Had loads like that as well, Rob Pheasant always scratched his name into his collection 45s, he did a brilliant job of it as well...
  22. £280; Is that allot for a British Demo of Marvelettes? I know there are allot less Aussie collectors out there as apposed to British collectors, but I bought an Aussie demo of this for about twenty quid I think on here some years back... first run, and Red Bullet sticker... £750 for Ray Pollard really is silly though... Mal :-)
  23. Wow, my old copy of Edward Hamilton, did you buy that direct from me mate? Mal
  24. Says it all, from the blurb we were given on donkeys
  25. That Donkey gave us the runaround Pete, we let him eat on our hike over the mountains, buggar stopped every two mins, even our kids were faster than that bloody donkey! Still he carried my youngest and all the bags...
