This is a great 45 from the Brother of Curtis Blandon & cousin of William Carlyle. From 1971, it's got a really obscure feel to it, and some great drum work. Sad to let it go :0( Scan is mine, the link is just so you can hear it..

A friend of Sean's examined the record and independently agreed that it was a bootleg counterfeit and a fake.

Sean contacted his seller. That seller was totally shocked. They have agreed to refund Sean in full without question.

These were via / from, done by an old DJ that may have travelled to Blackpool area at one point.  The whole set was easy to tell, the labels gave em away immediately. The best one was Louis Paul - The Change Will Do You Good, on INTRO as it was a WD, but when in comparrison to the original, it was easy to tell. I know I compared em...

These artists kinda remind me of Julie Driscoll (Julie Tippets), Julia Holter, who did an exceptional version of 'Hello Stranger' and Penny Goodwin, who had a single on Sidney records back in the day, an album of tracks via the Fryer few years back. Her 'What's Goin On' and 'Trade Winds' are stand outs for me.

You guys should check out a west coast singer called Audrey Martells, she turns up all over the place as backing singer and did a very worthy version of 'Pastures of Plenty' which i always thought could not be re done any better than the origional.

* Have you niticed a rise in Postal rate? their lower level insured 1st Class option insurance is now lowered to  £20 from £50. I liked this series, it became apparent it was made for Teens really, with the way they interspersed the relationships, but overall a really good Sci Fi series. I think the start of the series was better than the end, they managed to set the story out over several episodes, which really keeps you gripped.

Wasn’t sure about how they tied the story up, but that’s inherent in allot of great stories, allot of times Hollywood doesn’t bother with a Noir ending, where actually it suits the story better...

It was great how they shot the mother who was key to the story, in plain sight, she's there, but doesnt get explained until later, you would have to watech it, but a master stroke..

Ripley is good, to be honest it’s become excruciating by episode 3, which is a good sign

Nice copy, sleeve has no splits, swol (see scan), overall this is a very nice example of this release, sleeve and 45.
