Hi folks, I ordered two of these by mistake from Numero in the States, so have to sell one copy. I paid the import tax on these so, you dont have to:-) 24 Carat Black - 10 inch (Acetate Release) - Mint condition - £20 Plus postage £4.75 (1st Class signed for within the UK) Tracks include: 24-Carat Black Your Love Is In A World That Is Not Real 24-Carat Black What I Want 24-Carat Black Any Day Now 24-Carat Black Love The One You're With Blurb from Numero below "This “acetate” features four songs from Numero Group's 24 Carat Black tape archive that were scorched beyond use on 2009′s Gone: The Promises of Yesterday LP/CD. But given the quality of the songs, they always felt that the material should be available for the sake of posterity alone. 10" picture disc, disguised as a flake-away acetate. You read that right: Picture disc. In a stamped kraft paper sleeve. As objet d’art, these things get five bloody stars. As sonic documents...you know what, they’re actually sort of great, all things considered". Cheers All Mal

by the way, this came out twice on Mercury, the first issue is the grey (Demo) or (red Issue) (73450), the second is the vertigo design (73627).

Hi all, Ive got a nice white test / demo of this LP, but it never had a sleeve, does anybody have an RSO LP sleeve by any chance? if you have a battered LP, but the sleeve is good, that would work great. Price wise, its not an expensive Lp, so i guess we can agree something that fits the bill... Mal

Alternate 45 cut Isley Bros This old Heart of mine ?
Mal C replied to Soulboyrecords's topic in Look At Your Box
Yes I do and just timed it, spot on 2:39. nice radio station demo for you below, complete with all its play stamps, first spun in Adelaide Gaol prison, 14th April 1966:-) -
Got mine, very happy:-). One question Sean and I’m sure this is out of your control, and it doesn’t as far as I can tell effect any sound quality what do ever, but these tracks were cut in very small or fine grooves, not really utilising much of the blank vinyl, it just stood out to me. Sounds brilliant though :/) Mal

Another sunset, but I have to say this was from a really balmy two minuets of light, you know how it sparkles just before the light dips, no filters straight point and click...

Hi all, 3 x 45's that make up the Boddie Recordings Acetate box. No longer available via Numero. I have the singles the Insert, the little card, everything bar the actual box. £20 + £3 Post (1st Class Signed within the UK). Unknown Artist Let The Children Play Unknown Artist Never Let You Go Unknown Artist Girl Across The Street Unknown Artist I Do Love You Unknown Artist Goodbye Baby Unknown Artist Selfish One * follow the link to their player https://www.numerogroup.com/d/boddie-acetate-box Blurb from the Numero Website: Culled from the Boddie Recording Company’s massive tape archive, this triple-45 box set captures the essence of Thomas Boddie’s custom recording outfit. Recorded in the late ’60s and early ’70s, the performers from all three discs are completely unknown, save for the fact that they cut two killer cuts before disappearing. Housed in a stark, white box and wrapped in Boddie-branded kraft tape for maximum minimalist effect. best Malcolm

is the 'The Cartridge Trade' the rarer of the two label releases on Ray Frazier Dave? ie the one that just say 'Cartridge Trade' are they 1st / 2nd presses? Mlal -
Hi all, two nice LP's, not mega rare, but very very nice... The Choice Four - The Finger Pointers / RCA EX++ vinyl and sleeve EX++ £10 Includes 'If I Don't Love you' also done by Bobby Reed on his expensive Bell 45, this is a slower version than Bobby's, and really nice. I didn't realise until I read the cover, that both 'Choice Four' and 'Bobby Reed' were both from Washington, and of course this is a Van McCoy Production, was Van from Washington also? Denise Williams - This is Nicey / CBS EX++ £10 Two really great tracks on this LP, 'Still' is a must have track, also done by Donnie Elbert, but not as well! 'Slip Away' is another brilliant two stepper, happy to send an mp3's if you want to hear it.. but ten quid for her version is an absolute MUST!! No scans unfortunately, they dont fit in my scanner, but I have grabbed scans of both of the net for reference.. Pay and Postage PayPal as friends and family or add 4%, bank transfer also is fine. Postage: add £4.50 for 1st class signed for (insured up to £50) within the UK. Overseas pls state where you are and I'll get a quote back to you. cheers all Malcolm

Johnny Nash - Strange Feeling / PYE Advance Press Acetate (19 Feb 65) EX+ £40 **SOLD ** Nice UK Pye acetate test press Cody Black – Too Many Irons in the Fire / D-Town EX+ (wol) - £90 Some rub marks on the play side label, check out the scans, vinyl is clean, Sheldon stamped. Priscilla Page – I’m Pretending / Topper EX++ £150 1st more common Mix, but the better one IMO, knocks spots of the rarer release. The Ad Libs – Think of Me / Karen VG++ (dh) £80 bit of dirt and ring wear, but hardly noticeable on a dark blue label, some hairline marks on vinyl, but solid copy, hard record to get in mint one Ive always found. Jay & the Shufflers / Crackerjack / VG+ (xol) £40 One of those thats had a hard life outside a sleeve, looks rough but plays well above the grade. The Turks – The Bad Brought the Good / DJO EX+ (Slight Warp dnap) £125 Their rarer 45 on the DJO Label, Great mid-Tempo group 45 The Four Voices – Your love is Getting Stronger / Voice (2nd ‘Gold’ Issue) EX++£60 Green or Gold, such a great Detroit 45, both sides cheers all Malcolm
