Marva Whitney - This girls in Love with you / King EX++ Classic Marva, this is a beauty of a song... Arlene Bailey - Ain't That Something / COBRA EX+ Nice copy, bit of wear on the label, but plays clear and straight! Bobby King & The Relation - Don't Give Up Hope / LUNAR EX++ Brilliant early track from 1970. Class record this is. LIMMIE Funk Ltd - Can't Turn You Loose / Saturday Night's The Night / PSYCO (Super Disco Edits) EX+ Don't know if this is still about much, one of the very early 'Disco Edit' releases. Virgil Griffin and Rhythm Kings - A Forgotten Lover / Reginald Records EX++ £20 Possibly the saddest record I every bought, this guy really is at the depths of despair. Late night track for me, there isn’t much coming back from this tune..I wouldn’t want to go to bed after this one.. lol sax break to die for as well... Joe Valentine - I Cant Stand to See You Go / One Night of Satisfaction / RONN WD EX++ £20 One Night Stand is a very good midtempo track, but 'Cant Stand to See You Go' is in another ball park. Deep and Sweet Linda Jones - Not On The Outside / TURBO EX++ £10 If for some reason you DON'T have this 45, you need this! George Kerr, Sylvia Robertson and the Stunning Linda Jones, for a tenner! Wilma Scott - It's A Mean Old World / VERDY Records EX++ £225 ~ Reduced to £200 Another stunner, these were on Ebay years ago via one dealer, all gone now I believe, this is a lovely clean copy, label and play, most are not good condition. Gloria & The Relations - Hook, Line And Sinker EX++ (label stain) £225 ~ Reduced to £200 ** SOLD ** Lucky find in Paramatta, Sydney for me this one, stunning deep soul record with Funk flip. I believe this is wanted big time on the LR scene. Winfield Parker - Brand New Start / Arctic Records VG+ £45 reduced £35 Had a hard life this 45, but the track is an a stunning song, his best imo. Plays with crackle, but to be honest it doesn't detract at all. Mine looks a tad different. Was the scan above a slip sleeve that came with it? I do remember there being a 7 inch of Marvin Gaye -Lonely lover, which had 'Advance Promo Copy' or 'Advance Release' something like that written across it.

where in New York, Manhatten Island? go to downstairs in Generation Records, they were good when I was there. Also on a Sat you get junk or thrift fairs in between blocks, I visited a few and everything was 10 cents! got loads of Millie Jackson and Spring 45's... was worth wading through... allot of stores I thought were over the top price wise, some were just rude to be honest, if you have the time I'd travel across to Jersey and Newark...
