Right, big shout out to Soulies in the South, Brighton and surrounding areas. The picture below is off an old mate called Colin, who I knew when I lived down there in the 9ts, haven’t seen him since, and I can’t for the life of me remember his second name. I moved up to London in 99 and lost touch, anyhow I have a ton of Photos of Colin's and his mates at the 100 club, late 8ts/early 9ts by the look of them, which I’d love to return, anybody know him on here? Many Thanks in advance. Malc

Because of the wait, and the cost, it was free to me via Apple for a while, and to be honest I just havent got round to it. The gap between the end of the series and the final episode was a while wasnt it? I did however pay to watch the project Kevin Costner left to make, Horizon : American Saga, which was ok I thought, but no where as good as Yellowstone. At least there are 2 more chapters to come in that series, so it can redeem it's self.

That is dreadful news, he was a lovely guy. Very sad to hear this so close to Christmas, condolences to his family.

Holy Grail- 45- "angel Baby" - Garland Green - Mca -Australian Issue
Mal C replied to a topic in Look At Your Box
I’ve never thought about where all the classic Garland Green UNI tracks might have been played. that's really interesting, by the time I heard them they were compilation tracks, and not really rare enough to be played out… I’ve missed out there.. that happens doesn’t it, second, third, forth time around, new to some, old hat to many…. -

Point taken! Laughing.. Happy Christmas to you Pete, still stoking the beard here though as it’s not actually arrived at the door yet, but I’m very excited to say the least. -

There are two presses of this 45... It's on here as has been discussed at length before. But the later one, looks very bootish, if you get my meaning. -

Delola Carmichael is the steal here, in today’s crazy prices, thats really cheap at £146. Good record too.. Fred Hymes, sold mine for £650 two years ago, so thats what, it went for double the price this week. It sat on £250 for years, remember I sold my first copy for £350/400, then bought one back at £400, so I made ultimately £250 on it... dunno... -

trust me, you must know it. Easy on US, Uk etc, but dead hard on Aussie, as said above, 3/4 copies back in 2015, I have seen one other for sale in 20 years since I knew about the release, the chap above had that. Looks like I got a bit arsy in 2015...happens... I get it, most folks who don't collect variants and different territories, won’t be amazed by this, I don’t collect British, would not know where to start, but the Oz and NZ stuff is obscure some of it. I'm sure I will probably end up selling this for less then I paid, but then that’s record collecting isn’t it... -

Well it’s only taken 9 years since this thread was started, and 20 years since I became aware of this 45 on Aussie MCA, but I just got a copy! Will sit next too Garland’s two other MCA 45s a treat, and enhance my chin stroking technique no end! And this was a wired thread ! -

My view on Car Warranties, is that it depends on the car. A three year old car just out of its maker's warranty, is likely to still be in good condition, check the log book, and general docs / invoices in the log pouch, was it a fleet car, or privately owned? the milage would give you an indication here. If it has done allot of miles for the year, then you have to take a view. Look for the signs, does it steer to the right or left when you brake progressively? is the steering aligned correctly? if it has had some bigger engine parts changed out, that could be good, or be highlighting a bigger problem. I know that’s not a perfect answer to your question, but I've always gone with paying for items as they come up, I have a good garage near me, I ask him to check the general health of mine, we both know when things are likely to go wrong on them, so between us we manage it. If in doubt, have a local garage look at it for you. Reviewers praising the company or/and slating them in equal measure, that’s not a sell to me. If it's a good company it should be apparent immediately, otherwise I'd steer clear.
