It's a great track this one, slightly strange one for me, I bought it in the 9ts for a fiver, and it came the day my mother died, in fact I got the news seconds after signing for it, so its for ever tied to that moment, I know thats a tad strong but I still play it, but I don't have many other 45's that take you to a certain moment in any other way, strong stuff I guess... I was going to check that, just haven't got round to it.. Both immense recordings..
-
how much do these LP's go for Philippe?
-
I've tried to like it Tony, I can see the fascination people have with it, that's one of the good things about collecting rare soul, there are loads of very distinct sounds out there, but this just never had enough of anything to really grab me to be honest..
-
Just got 'talk about love' on a us orig which kinda prompted the post, just think they are very special, I don't know of any duo or group that sound as rich as they do,in the way they do....
-
dunno, do you want it, or do you have it for trade`?
-
that's fine, but its not a really good record is it??
-
and what must be the ultimate cheapie, cost ya nout... You know it makes sense!!
-
and again, cause its simply brilliant!!!
-
No F****** Joke!! Never heard this version b4, Pic and bill did 'I Love you baby' as covered by the Moovers.... is there no end to their brilliance?? and I'll finish that with Jimmy Connor - The Reality of Life.. Mal.C loud and Proud!!!!!!!
