Found: Ride Your Pony. Wanted (Still) Betty Harris "mean Man" 45 (Sansu)
Mal C replied to Foxman's topic in Record Wants
I'll see if I can get you one Foxman, give me a week or so... always good to spread the soul... M -
Unbelievable, I cant believe the chap who won that honestly thought he was paying any sort of reasonable price, Perhaps he's a millionaire.... I remember getting this at Second City Sounds in Brum for £2, it was in the crap box along with stuff like Earthquake - Roy Hamilton etc... Local collector Dave English had turned his nose up at them, so I got the scraps..

That 'Mean Man' is a great track, but you will be very pleasantly surprised when you flip it over as 'What I'do Wrong' is the real classic, a very moody slowie, you should be able to get this on ebay really cheap, there are loads on there... 10/15 dollars.... get the vinyl demo for better sound quality, also came out nationally on Bell, which funnily enough I think is rarer, specially on demo. Have you heard 'I'm Evil Tonight' ? you will need that as well... Good luck mate. m -
Flip of the True Tones 'Thats Love' is a killer slowie People, actually I prefer that side personally, But buyers should be aware, this is a class double sider...

Anybody Notice the change of Pay Pal today? Seems they have simplified the send money page, giving two options below: the old 'Gift' option, now Family or Friends charges you a fee unless you send from a Pay pal Balance.. Whats not clear is whether the 'and/or Bank account' on this option, is deemed the same as a debit card mentioned in the below option. I thought once you join pay Pal, you have to link it to a bank account, so why would you be using a separate credit or debit card? I think people should switch to direct payments into Bank accounts personally, takes the same time and effort no fees to greedy pay pal, notice they don't offer you any interest on Pay Pal balances... what do folk think... * Various Sale 45's All Sorts In There, All Under Fifty Quid **
Mal C replied to Mal C's topic in Record Sales
yeah it was comic sands but I think it has a tendency to change into something else, certainly does when I'm viewing on my i-Phone.. maybe something for Mike to look into... -
This maybe against the grain...But I got to be honest, I always thought it was ok, but nothing really special... Obviously mega rare and all that, Maybe you just had to be there type of track....Personally I wasn't and this is just another OK 7ts dancer... not worth £2k but such is record collecting... Not to leave on a negative note, but might I suggest The aristocrats - Lets Get together Now as something along the same lines, but far superior imo... Mal.C
