  1. Had allot of interest in the above 45's this morning, I'm speaking to 7 people regarding them, But as yet not one person has paid me and there are tracks several people multiple want, can I respectfully ask, if you have asked me for something, and Ive replied its yours and given my payment details, pls make payment as soon as you can, or inform me when you will, otherwise I'm going to miss out on sales, and I'm telling folk stuff not available when it might well be. I'm fair on first come first serve, but if you promise and dont pay within a reasonable time, I'll simply sell the 45's on to somebody else, and I think thats totally fair. Kind Regards, malcolm

  8. Love his recordings, think that Maurice Williams version of the song just pips Diamond Joe's... there were some great Charley LP's from the 8ts on the label, had a host of Diamond Joe tracks, all good, bit of info on there, but as LP comps they did tend to be short.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEZ0G4ion80 try this also, as they 'Charley" did a one off, of all the LP tracks I think https://www.burningshed.com/store/charly/product/418/3062/ Mal.C

  15. Just came across this site, old now the trip was in 2009, but there is some great pictures in here, and interesting facts, states the Dau release of Barbara Acklin is very likely a bootleg. wonder if Roger Blythe can cast any light on that, as he's quoted Dave Flynn's site on local / national releases.. https://www.classicurbanharmony.net/chicago_soultrip_usa.htm Just a nice read..
