John Anderson interviewed! that would be great to hear, has anybody actually ever tracked down Simon Soussant? he's another the world would love to hear from... I have to commend your efforts to promote your products Ian, you seem to ride the negative comments on this forum and still create a hype surrounding your releases... noting short of what the sixties / seventies promotion men would do in the states for the music..I think people forget here how good some of these guys were, aggressive when needed, but they had an understanding of their target audience... and they loved an angle!! lol its all good... Is this the same lot as on Redd Coach - Keep Away? sounds like them to me.. good track, though I have to say I'd want a bit more for £4k personally...for that kind of cash, it would have to put me in orbit, and keep me there.... Its not Gene Toones is it.. that said I dont now if you could buy Gene Toones with £4k?

Got the right hand one Barry, dunno but left has the full label addy, and the other nothing, but bar that and the logo those labels are the same, I wouldn't think they were not legit. Pressing plant label variation I reckon... Malcolm

I got my copy of 'Born Again' by jj Barnes out again last week, might be early seventies, sorry about that....But what an Lp it is.... Failing that Bobby Bland - piece of gold on Uk Action, cause I got mine from my mates mum for a fiver while I was at school, and that Lp opened so many doors for me...Strong Stuff!!! Mal

still a pulsating how ever many times I hear it, its still up there with a small number of 45's like George Blackwell on Smoke, never dims as a track or collectable 45.. it came on the other night in my car, followed by Renegade Soundwave - The Phantom, a comparison that may be lost on most of you, but I thought these two tracks are quite the same within their respected genres, both drop what your doing, no messin, kick ass! straight to the floor! tracks... and before I get any stick, this threads musing right? Where was Saints & Sinners held at in Brum Ady? Its funny I remember speaking to Kev Roberts in the early 9ts, I photographed him at his then Radio Show, and he asked where I came from, I said Birmingham, and he said it never really happened in Birmingham did it... I know the Birmingham Lacarno was popular and in the eighties The Outrigger, which is where I started off is well known, but back in the late 6ts, early 7ts Ive never head of anywhere, certainly not Saints and Sinners...
