  1. that Willie Hutch, absolute killer...
  2. Just saw this and thought Wow, they did that one.. I've never bought an Outta site 45, I see them listed obviously but know nothing about the label really, but anybody know when this came out, it is brand new? Reminds me of the 9ts, great record this, which I know certainly had allot of folk who also hated it, was big at the same time as Gale Garnett, around then... Not an expensive track is it on RCA, but suppose it makes it easy for the ten quid soul collectors... each to their own, but great music!! Mal
  3. Here's a good thread from the past, 2006 to be precise.. so we're eight years on, and there have been eight more fabulous editions to this collection of releases, do folk still have the above as their favorites? I'd have to go with: The Hytones - Good News | San Francisco T.K.O.'s | Melba Moore | Carla Thomas, and Mill Evans cause I was one of the small plethora who was on the floor when Ady first spun it... and always had a soft spot for The Devonnes - Doin The Gittin Up... Malcolm

  7. here's one I mentioned recently on here, but its perfect example.. had this 45 for years and only turned it over last couple months... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ67umHoimE Its been said above there are thousands, but here are a couple favorites that have very famous 'Northern Soul' other sides, to be honest I prefer most of these cuts to their 'Norther' other, but hey its all great music.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSN1Omys1GY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwDWDFU4sxs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNVr0hRAyUA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWCbOe-ViWw mal

  10. Just got Johnny Wyatt - This Thing Called Love, last time I got that it was £7 or there about, of Joe Dunlop... but I'm a happy man again... this and Bobby Reed - I'll Find a Way... not trendy and all that anymore but I know I'll have hours of enjoyment playing those two..also got 'Corporation Of One - The Real Life' which is the version to get of Raven Maize hit record by Joey Negro... got a great break beat throughout!! Good music dont go out of fashion... but crap music does, very quickly.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QeNql4KxIM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYCWhZ6OqGk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bT9ucLWN5I
  11. Nope, and we may never again if this disillusioned soul fan is allowed to destroy the OVO rule book... where's the Re-Issue police when you need em?? all this over a Tomato's Acetate...

  17. Has anybody ever worked out whats actually going on int his record, I mean in relation to the words, is she just a gal, meeting a guy at a motel, or is she a hooker? opening words, whats your hurry baby, but then she says treating me like Im for sale, which I guess is not from the point of view of a hooker... dunno, its always made me wonder when i listen to it.. what do folk think>? m

  22. Blimey, I know this is a real want for most folk, who dont already have it... I certainly dont.. But dont you think this 45 kinda takes the fun out of it a bit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/like/141451684784?item=141451684784&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
  23. Bit confused, what track am I looking for Flanny? Mal
  24. I cant, I like too much other music to define myself with a single sort of name... this is no big deal though is it? being a Muso first and foremost is enough... Malcolm
  25. I think the Hamilton movement s a brill record, and all their others on the label which are a lot cheaper... Maria O used to spin this in Oz on her Radio show and about town, it was a big thing back then, would be 2003/4/5. Great track, but at that price, Id have to plum to spend my money on other wants personally, alternatively Id like to go to the states and find one..!! maybe appreciated the scan for my I-Tunes, now I can listen in a right visual paradise..!! Malcolm
