  1. 7" NORTHERN SOUL-MANFRED MANN-COME TOMORROW/ASCOT-VG. HEAR!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-NORTHERN-SOUL-MANFRED-MANN-COME-TOMORROW-ASCOT-VG-HEAR-/321872571461?hash=item4af119ac45 I know they all do it, pop that keyword next to their crap records, but no, sorry no......its simply isnt... Mal
  2. Anybody got a copy of 'Mark James - I Cant Let You Go' either UK Liberty demo or Yank Issue? Cheers Mal
  3. Pm'd ya, text you also... Mal :-))
  4. Were at it again, oh well... sheer madness isn't it... you would be a fool to buy any of these types (Classic northern) these days, I'd bide my time till the price comes down and go in search of brilliant cheapies, ie records that are not very well known which we will all be paying silly money for in a few years... actually with this track Id prefer the Kent single / reissue, have you heard the sound quality on that one!!! serious bass on the intro... so £10 for the Kent 45, or £2600 for the original... Saw Trade Martin go for £250 yesterday, thats got to be £50/75 over what its worth? Mal
  5. WOW, well Lee Harvey - Prove It should have 'Only True Love' on the flip, seriously great record... Get in!!! Mal
  6. Do you have a nice scan of the Label Des?
  7. Well, this just came through the post, and I really did kinda wonder whether it was my type of thing, with that beginning, this has had to grown on me a bit, but I'm gonna keep it... That said, once this hits the melodies... very cool track... J.B Bingham was defiantly not a one trick pony... great singer of all styles... Did he cut anything else other than the two UA singles we all know?

Coco & Ben - Good Feeling [Earth World], seen this come up a few times, maybe not as rare as the others in your list Kristoffer.... great record though.. anybody remember Demetrice Faire – Young Girl, copies were about some years ago, but haven't seen one in ages, not mega rare but certainly one thats disappeared... Sorry Dave T, but 'I lost you girl - Sir George', has to be one of the most boring records I ever bought, semi rare Id say, they seem to turn up every so often... Mal.C
  9. First heard this at the Outrigger in Birmingham, Tony Reynolds the Dj there, and an old Wigan regular, so I guess he must have heard it somewhere?

  14. Just checked their site out, no G-Zip, bugger all optimization, no wonder it takes an age to load.. good site though.. but they are letting them selves down on simple stuff.. However, I think Steve was referring to another book by Andy Dyson...

  19. I Think their version of 'Make it sweet' stands head and shoulders over Coke Escovedo's, and the flip 'We All Have Our Own Lives' really is a big favorite of mine, thats actually the side I bought the 45 for.. my god I'm dissin Coke Escovedo...sacrilege..

  23. Saw this on Ebay, I thought it was Canadian recording, dunno, clear hoax, or was this actually cut there, I doubt it personally... Northern Soul 45 With Beatles Related Interest Eddie Spencer-If This Is Love- Abbey Road Test Press This item was recorded at the famous Abbey Road studios in London and this is the original, and probably only Emi disc/Acetate cut at the studio.
  24. hey frank, An Aussie boot, made to look like a Aussie test press, well it fooled the bloke I bought it off, and me! never come across any Aussie boots... As for the group of labels, would it be right to say most got their 45's pressed at the same plant? Ive asked about but info has always been scant...
