  1. Bet you wouldn't be saying this if you could get ya hands on one Ted No, the best bit's are the bit's that Mick has cut out, like where he say's his name. By chance, that's the name on the label
  2. Mark, i think Tommy has a near mint issue of this for sale. He'll be on here later today, Ady.
  3. Funny thing, i've just bought a small collection & there are 2 of your wants in there that i noticed on your wants list on another thread, which are the Karmello Brooks & Unique Blend, as i've got these already i was going to contact you to offer you them. Now i've just read this, i'm glad i've not done so, as you sound like you could be a pain in the arse.
  4. Brilliant record, Bamboo 108, flip side 'Be careful', about £30. I put it on the Dome 'free give away' c.d., got loads of good feedback on it. Didn't play it Friday, i forgot, but when i spun it last time a few people came up to have a look, notepads in hand
  5. Replied to this under the Dome thread.
  6. Ahhh, that Berlin. Goodness, you're going to be coming a long way to get to the Dome on Friday
  7. Hmmm....Berlin forrest is that north of Watford gap Mark?
  8. As he's a mate, think it had better be £250 Cheers chaps
  9. I've just been asked if i will sell my Jan Jones, he want's a price tonight. I thought it would be about £250 now days? Or is that too much?
  10. Haha, you know what i'm like Ken, let em get on with it, so long as someone tell's me when it's time to put the cat out & lock up.
  11. Thank's for your help By the way, Mr. Smith, are you still o.k. to d.j. on Friday?
  12. Yes Mark, much slower than the Modern cut. Flipside offers Part two. California based label. Hope this helps P.S. Bring it along on Friday night.
  13. I better say what the reason is for me asking. Tommy found a vinyl copy of this while digging about in L.A.( so credit, plus the ten quid it cost me, goes to him on this one ) It's on an obscure local label. On first listening, i did wonder if the lyrics are a touch too aggressive, but after a few play's i think it's pretty good. The singer is pretty upset about his girl friend's decision to dump him, & i think this comes out in the lyrics. Opening line is " An aspirin would go crazy....looking for your brain....your mashed up brain". Ah, how sweet, a love song I'll play it Friday, down at the Dome.
  14. That's the one!! Now Tony, what's the chances of you remembering if it was on an acetate or vinyl?
  15. Is it the same take as the Modern cut ?
  16. Does anyone know if Butch is/has spun a record that has the same backing track as Mel Williams - Can it be me. I was talking to a friend & he seems to think he's heard Butch play it. Any info would be much appreciated
  17. That Monzas looks like a BOOTiful condition copy
  18. That's correct remus, infact i think the Frank Dell was from mid to late 70's. O.k, so can someone please sell Kenny a copy of this re-issue album for a tenner
  19. When you compare the intro on the 45 to the album, they're different. Also, the vocal on the album sounds a bit stronger to me. Has anyone else noticed this? I must admit, i've only had one copy of the album, but must have had at least 8 or so copies of the single pass through. Pottsy. P.S. Sorry Kenny, i don't have the album any longer, otherwise i'd let you have it mate.
  20. Check out the feedback on the bidder on the Louis Curry & Gia Maione, user name:- 4_quixie ( 19) He seem's to have the same taste in purchases as the seller. Other user names to be wary about, unless anyone can say otherwise, are:- gimelstob (0) bernoble (0)
  21. Hello Stoll, as a matter of interest, what rare records did you buy from this seller?
  22. One of the scans is of a record i bought off ebay months ago.
