  3. sorry, don't think that one works, try this one. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...DME:L:LCA:UK:31
  4. I've got one on ebay at the moment, still sat at the 99p kick off price with no reserve. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...DME:L:LCA:UK:31
  5. Hello Mandy, The item in question sold on the 15th September, i didn't get a response until 20th October, when i said i'd leave him bad feedback if he didn't pay up. So in other words, he wasn't in any way interested until it was going to have an adverse affect on himself. Would have thought this would have been long enough to respond. This should in no way give any other d.j's nervous twitches, as they weren't involved in the auction. pottsy
  6. Hello Dave, 1. I am doing, but does that excuse the fact that people do this? Bid on items & then not honour their bid?. Before you click on the "place your bid" button, it explains without any confusion that it's a binding contract that you are entering. Sadly, this happens a lot & sellers are not given a chance to voice their feeling's regarding this, other than leaving bad feedback. And as i have said before, if you leave a bad feedback the buyer can leave the same in retaliation. Then it's a long process of appealing to ebay to try & get that negative removed. 2. I'm very prepared to name him, but once that's been done, where does that leave me? It leaves me without my money & no bargaining power. This may well smack of small time sensationalism to you Dave, but then i don't suppose you do this for your living. This isn't a hobby of mine, this is my full time job. 3. I can't see how anyone has been compromised in any way. All the information regarding bid's is on full view to the public. You can view their feedback history, what they've bid on, what they didn't win. But sadly, the only thing you can't view, is what they didn't pay up on. pottsy.
  7. Let's give him a chance to reply Mark, as he's probably very busy. pottsy.
  8. I've just sent him a polite email asking him to have a look at this thread, & would he like to reply. Regards, pottsy.
  9. Problem is mischief, ebay have now made it such a long drawn out process to recoup your fee's, as in this case. They dont want to lose their commission, come what may. They even suggested ME calling the buyer!! pottsy
  10. Tried that mate, didn't get a reply.
  11. Exactly.
  12. Back in September i sold a Ronnie Dyson - Lady in red on ebay. As with all my ebay sales, 99p kick off, no reserve. It made £46. Did the buyer pay up? No. So i sent several reminders. No reply. I then said if you don't pay me, i'll give you a bad feedback. Then i got a reply ( i've deleted all names except mine ):- hi ady there was a mis hap, ***** my good lady bid $25 for it not knowing it was buy it now which i think you had £45 on which is tinch to high sorry for any inconveinence caused **** like i said, started it at 99p no reserve I didn't tell him to go £46, he chose to go to that. So what can i do? Nothing. If i give him a bad feedback, he'll give me one. Funny thing is, without saying who it is, it's a big name d.j., & i've seen him on soul source so he's reading this. The item number of the record is:- 4766268439 Dont know how to do a link to it, perhaps someone else can do that. So, can you pay me, please!!
  13. I hope you put something like a deliberate mistake in Pete, so your work can be identified. Bout time you did a reggae price guide mate, that record collector one is a joke.
  14. Hello Alan, I know where your coming from on the gutted front, get a load of this. I had SEVEN copies of Timi Yuro, "It'll never..." in my U.K. collection. I held onto them as i knew one day it would take off. When it hit the £200 mark i thought it couldn't go any higher, surely. So i unloaded them. I wont say where, because the 2 people that had them look on here. Only problem was, i thought i'd kept one for my self, but got confused & let it go All due respect to Tim, but i honestly dont know how a dealer in U.S. records can be an authority on U.K., do you?? Manship's been handling the stuff for donkeys. I used to love it when Tim would sell U.K, as i would get some brilliant bargains, so i'm in no way knocking the guy. Like you say, it will be interesting. Regards, pottsy
  15. https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/ I've just heard he's had to go back to the drawing board, forgot to include the monkeeys
  16. I must admit i've never been one for price guides, probably due to the fact that i sell mainly on ebay, with a 99p kick off price & no reserve. I tend to deal along the lines where by if i sell a record, let's say on ebay, & it makes fifty quid, that's the value on that day at that minute. So if i was to look in a guide & it say's the value of that particular record is forty or sixty quid, how does that help me? So, when i was given a present this morning, namely one Manship U.K. price guide, my initial responce was . But after it sat on the corner of my desk for an hour or so i started to flick through the pages. Well i must say, i'm impressed, it's actually very interesting. There's loads of info on how the different labels came to be, lots of pictures of the 45's plus e.p.'s, full price listing, 'A' sides, 'B' sides, different label configurations, etc. etc. Credit where it's due, this is a good book pottsy.
  17. i think we can now get a gist of what Tommy was really thinking whilst listing it..
  18. I think that Irma & the larks on Priority was a bargain at £51
  19. Quick, grab a bargain!!
  20. Yep, he seem's to know a bargain when he spots it mark
  21. sorry craig sorry mike just thought craig & me had something in common
  22. I know Dave i left my primers in that sleeve, & now it's gone is no avatar a safe place anymore? I've got my suspicions though, because there's some ice cream left on the sleeve
  23. A match made in heaven don't you think Craig?
  24. Oh. no i didn't have any. It was just when you said about that lovely smell, i thought some of the records must have been in the old green sleeves, cause they smell real nice. I must say i love that record in your avatar Craig, good choice mate
