  1. Hi Andrew, in that case it can't be "oh love". Any chance you can do a sound clip or link to it ? Ady
  2. I think your looking for THE MAGNETICS - OH LOVE / WASTING TIME - J-V The confusion has come about by a posting on you tube I think ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crQ9eio9sQg
  3. .
  4. I know a lot of ebay sellers get upset over this extra feedback thingy, the one where on top of the normal feedback the buyer can also give a zero to 5 star rating. I know a few that have blocked bidders over this. If you watch your star rating as the feedbacks are being left you know exactly who has left what. I think ebay make out that the seller can't see this? I must admit it does niggle me when I post a record on the same day as payment is made & the buyer gives me a 3 star rating for doing so Another one is when I make a mistake & under charge on postage to then receive a low star rating.
  5. sold
  6. What about the Patti & the Lovelites - Love Bandit - Atlantic ?
  7. I've got a mint one here Mark if you want to send them my way mate /forums/topic/229379-flowers-for-real-lax-offers/
  8. sold
  9. Here's two pictures of the first number on the label, as mentioned by Des. 'The Brush' being an instrumental, 'Smilesville, U.S.A.' sounds like a surf/Garage style advert for a dentist ! Very strange.
  10. By the way, a serious question, has anyone found out if that's a milk bottle they keep hitting on the "Thats why I love you" side ?
  11. That's great.... "WORLD FAMOUS CONTINENTAL" but perhaps we'd better just mention it's "ACROSS FROM MR. WALTERS WIG SHOP"
  12. A record I've always associated with Carl Fortnum. Regular play for him at the Capital soul club, also remember him playing it at the Ritz in Manchester, it sounded real good at the Ritz. This was before Kenny B had one when it was still a couple of known copies.
  13. The flip to "Charade" by The Four Tracks is nice..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6crzzWWl_Hw
  14. The copy that sold yesterday for $85.99 was the re-press. Here's what the original 1st press looks like. Note how the song title " A WOMAN IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND" is all on one line. On the repress it's broken down into two lines :
  15. The flip side to The Exits - Another sundown in Watts - Kapp is quite nice... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4siGuC6z8dY
  16. Anything to do with the $4,500.00 price tag you put on it, perhaps ?
  17. Wonder how many people were offered the second chance offer that he refers to in the listing ? My second chance offer was for $74
  18. Hi Kris, Sure is. Vinyl is the same as the large hole press. How on earth it slipped through like this is beyond me. Looks kind of weird, doesn't it. pottsy
  19. Here's a weird one, The Third Guitar...
  20. I picked up this mint Nabay off Adey Pierce when he sold his Detroit collection in the early 90's. He auctioned his collection over some months, in alphabetical order. There were some lovely records on those lists.
  21. I love the backing on 1002 - Mickey Denton - Mi Amore, sounds very Flamingos - I only have eyes for you. I'm guessing Mickey was a white singer ?
  22. What a good little record, must start playing this again Spotting the (old) DOWN TO EARTH boot is pretty easy as it was pressed on brittle styrene, with a stuck on label. Original is good quality vinyl with a moulded on label, see picture below. It wasn't booted on GOLDEN GATE.
