    Just going through some storage boxes & found a few copies of this great little double sider : Chris Jones - Destination Unknown / I'm The Man - GOODIE TRAIN. Condition : All are mint but they all have a tiny storage dish. Price is £10 each, free second class standard post within the UK.

    I have a Sity & James. Condition is approx. EX with a couple of light surface scuffs ( see picture ). Plays perfect. It has a very faint crack line that runs around the label between the two pencil lead points in the photo. It looks like this happened in manufacture as it doesn't move in any way. £300 plus postage at cost.

    My one came from St. Louis. It has the two pimple/dimples. But it has the darker labels. Plus it has a 1966 date on the 'I wanna dance' side. Vinyl seems pretty thick to me. Now who's nicked my fookin vernier ?!

    Andy, Using the S - 002 B as a marker point, go 180 degrees round the dead wax, so you're opposite the S - 002 B. There should be a very small 'pes' in the deadwax. Do you have that ?

    There are two presses of Chuck Flamingo (with black vinyl). I know this because I owned both at the same time. One press plays a lot clearer (and a bit louder)than the other. I only have the loud/clear playing copy now, but from memory I seem to remember you could do a visual check & be able to see a difference. I think the dead wax on the "No one to call my own" side was a lot narrower on the low volume (muffled) press. You didn't notice the sound difference so much at home, but when we played them out on a big system, it really stood out. Any one else noticed this ?

    The original Jimmie Raye has a factory 'stamped' matrix that's approx. 7mm long. Look at the photo's I've supplied (on this copy) it's in the dead wax in line with the song title. I've had 3 originals & all have had this stamp.
