Stewartby 16th Anniversary 30/11/2024. Steve Foran got the night moving. I must say I really enjoyed Steve's set, he has some incredible records & is a very good DJ, brilliant spot. I then stood in for Carl Fortnum for 20 minutes & he then took over just after 9pm. The 9 to 10pm spot is a tricky one to do. You want to get the floor moving in readiness for the guest DJ to follow, but still drop in some lesser played sounds, well Carl did exactly that. Then our special guest DJ, Joan Livesey. Wow, how do you sum up a set like that?? Full on, exciting, in your face, floor packing, fresh sounding, full of energy. I think that just about covers it! lol Carl & I took over from Joan with a bit of double decking, followed by Geoff to end the night. I want to thank the lovely Sue Males for being that smiling face when you walk through the door Thanks to Dave Crawley for his help behind the scenes with the flyer. A special thanks to Shane Walker & all the lovely bar staff x And I want to say a massive thank you to all the friends that support the night x We have two very exciting guest DJs for the 25th January 2025 date, info to follow in a day or two. Here's to the seventeenth year. Ady

John and the Wierdest - Can't Get Over These Memories
Ady Potts replied to Mal C's topic in Look At Your Box
This is what the boot that Mal posted up looks like held up to a light bulb. That's not a reflection, that's looking through the vinyl. They must have dubbed it from an original because you can hear light background noise as the music kicks in. The labels are very close. -
The Luther Ingram was green label, styrene, Parker Street address, Distributed by Atco record sales co. under artists name.
