Having a rummage ...as you do I used to play this record when we started at the old Rugby Club as York Soul Club after moving from The Holgate...trying to remember when it was The Speedlimit Cant Say No Cutlass acetate Its a different mix completely to the one featured on Pats Auction Plays pure and crisp. I understand that they were also..before or after?? The Hollywood Flames... Same group?

Afternoon All Had the Contessa record covered as Clydie King... A second copy came up for sale..Im presuming thats the one Ted is talking about which I bought.. I have heard of one other copy I put a copy for sale on here ..I think thats the one Chalky is referring to but decided not to sell it in the end..I think the sound file is the one I did at the time For me its one of those records that sounds fine at home but really brought to life on a big system. Big favorite at York Soul club..and had some play at the back end of Stafford IMO..Just right for now..as they say

As I said..I had the Milton James and really liked it..had to be tempted really hard to let it go..hence the Walter and The Admerations In fact I did clap eyes on the Milton James again when I was DJing in Valencia...it was on Marc Forrest's turntable!!!
