ps the old souley who lost his change on the dance floor was Donald from Colley Gate at Pep's Black Horse Fri night do's back in the early 90's Remember Donald, pissed my self laffin when he came up to me after not seeing him for a few years, to tell me that he was gay..... Gay i said you just found out weve all known for years. nice lad though...

great shame was a great venue, remeber phil sheltons wake being there sad time but all adds to the memories(really expected him to be there in the corner in his coffin)

Eventually we hope to put up a links page so if anyone would like us to add there website's to this please let us know, contact details are already on the site. We hope you enjoy our website feel free to contact us should you have any comments or queries. http://www.unitedsoundofsoul.co.uk Latest News......... If you are a regular at United Sound of Soul or have followed our story on Soul Source you will know that we recently lost our venue in Holmes Chapel (please see the story so far for details) and held our 2nd Anniversary at The Premier Suite in Cannock town centre the venue was well liked by everyone who came and so we decided that we would stay there but unfortunately it is booked until November 2009 therefore until then we will be using a different venue. Our next night is on 30th May at The Royal Hotel, Ablewell Street, Walsall as this is a hotel there are also rooms available for anyone wanting to stay over and if you mention the soul night you will recieve a 10% discount on the room price which includes breakfast, there are already a few booked in for the night.

spent many a good nite at both of these venues, remember going to the central, in the father in laws car,(no licence just had a scooter at the time), also a mad arguement with the wife, over a record, £13 for bobby kline, the guy changed his mind and wanted £15, she said he was takin the piss and put her two penoth in... years later this was all brought back to me, when morris gave me a dvd.. evidence to haunt me to this day lol........ -
