  4. Blagged our way past the DS at the train staition, chased up the street locals with swords yet on a friday oldies alnighter went down myself from Edinburgh bought a few records put them in my bag upstairs went and danced nothin was touched. Luck of the draw i suppose, Fookin loved the place.
  5. Used to love gettin Black Echoes for the playlists, dont know what problem is we all like to know whos playing what. Cant believe the negative comments about something thats always been a part of the soul scene.

  10. Unknown Pleasures good selection soul,funk and reggie(rarer stuff behind the counter). A very neat and tidy wee shop. Theres Backbeat Records just up the road worth a browse, though the guy puts the rarer stuff on ebay.

  19. Leon Bryant. Mighty Body(hotsie totsie). Just remembers me some of looks on punters faces on the dance floor at Wigan when it was first played by Searling and co. Picked it up on ebay cheap and will give it a wee spin now and again when ave got my modern box out, brings back good memories

  21. Lou Rawls in Edinburgh fantastic voice and entertainer another legend sadly missed. Bobby Womacks poet tour and Maze at the Playhouse were also outstanding.
