OK, well I don't recall seing this one before. Another variation to the C/Pw distributed one with the designed logo they gonna keep for the followings Chariot label. Cheers for that.

Here are 2 IMHO of his better 45's in minty condition. First; this beautiful and rarer demo of Clyde's Philly classic ,that some might say cheesy, others will say truly wonderful of 'your wish is my command' backed with 'peace and love' on a minty USA promo Atlantic. Soundclip not from actual record. I'd even say actual record sounds better than those soundclips. & 20 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! (extra 6 £ to have it signed for) payment through Paypal as 'to family or friends' gradings M, EX, VG, G Then; one I only discovered lately and that has all it takes to be up there with all the other trophees, Better know for the flip side 'you call me back', 'who am'I is the side that really does it for me.This is actually a Jamaican release that looks, plays and sounds great. Just listen to both sides from the Youtube soundclips that are not from the actual record. 20 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! Nothing for the soul or related musik cravers. Only one for the completists (or the unlikely 'Mersey beat fans made out of Mersey !?) in an almost perfect condition (EX due to few light scuffs) in the rarer styrene format complete with it's company sleeve. 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! I don't recall seing an orange Chariot dist. C/Pw one of 'goodbye baby'. Greens are both demos and comercial issues. The following numbers on Chariot distributed from then on were yellow, sometimes orange and white demos. Greens are not only demos. Like so in order;
-
You have green demos and commercial issues.
-
Green promos and comercial issues are picked up by the Cameo-Parway group for national distribution. Orange or red rather are the first 'local' presses. Cheers, ,Tim

It must be recent since they started doing these 'photocopied' label copies since few years in small quantities and that one only appeared on evilbay since 2012 ! -

Here it is. Made by the Pop corn people. It seems to be a mat and white-white label. instead of the oldish original glossy and greyish white one. All I can say by the looks of it. Can't say more since I never had the boot in hands. Hope that helps. Cheers, Tim -
Big City Big Voiced Beat Ballad. Not well known I believe, but it has the potential to be. Vinyl is Ex - but the label is only VG- since it has seen a marker. a marker most likely in the hands of a very young kid. Even, the vinyl is 'marked' (second half of the 'asterpiece') but that does NAP. Soundclip from actual record. 35 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! Lollipops double sider alas in VG condition that plays witch crackles and pops but the strong volume on this winner still overplays. The Youtube clips are actually from the record. Not a collector's prize, but good enough to DJ with or play home or in a Juke Box. It seems that it could also use a proper cleaning treatment. it bears uneven greyish stainings here and there (not all over that is) to improve it's sound and look. 45 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! Not the country singer nor the jazz saxophonist. This Bobby Boyd (here with his Playboy Review) didn't have so many recordings apparently. I had his 'watcha' gonna do about it' on Bang 45 wich I always tought to be overlooked. It's true that Bang is not really an appeciated label for soul cravers. There's also that rare modern soul 'congress' LP out there with good stuffs on. Still, when I discover he had another 45 on a local label called Bark, I had to look for it. Wich I did and this is my actual first copy. Vinyl has a light dish and few scuffs to make it an EX and the - for the slight dish. The label is only VG for the overall wear and coffee stains ? Listen, watch and judge for yourself with my live Youtube clip from actual record. 'forgive and forget' is a raw uptempo guitar & organ (the church kind) driven tune with great horn hooks all the way through with Bobby singing with all his guts. Flip is a southern ballad in it's genre. Not a common or well known 45 I believe. 50 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! The Symphonics 'No More' Brunswick YDJ EX 50£ FREE SHIPPING - Brilliant dancer that still has to have it's day. Raw, naïve, gutsy, almost tribal, this teenage girl claiming her emancipation really does it for me. Listen and find out for yourself. The flip is an OK ballad echoing Barbara Mason's 'sad girl' ! Now overall condition is EX with no damage to the sound what so ever if and there's an if, if it was not for the slight OFF CENTER pressing that is audible at the end of both songs. It is there but, to my ears, it doesn't kill the listening. Listen, watch & judge for yourself with these live Youtube clips I've made from actual record. Mind you it's 150£ in JM ! 50 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! (extra 6 £ to have it signed for) payment through Paypal as 'to family or friends' gradings M, EX, VG, G

A late discovery for me and what a record. It still has that sound as if it was recorded in the same studio and with the same band as for the Kent sessions. Maybe it's not !? After a bit of work, I've managed to produce a 'live' soundclip from actual record for sale on Youtube. Enjoy ! The flip is typical southern style ballad. Condition is EX- (few scuffs, not ugly at all) plays strong and loud on it's beautiful thick vinyl. POWER ! 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! I know this doesn't help the original request, but I always favoured this (not first but still, vocals and orchestration...) version;

Summer's here ! Bobby Caldwell's 'the house is rockin' is now a standard spin in some circuit. Like Florida's oranges, it is filled up with that sunshine to fit this summer's welcoming with it's easy sing along refrain. Condition is EX+ Flip is not bad either for the info. 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! (extra 6 £ to have it signed for) payment through Paypal as 'to family or friends' gradings M, EX, VG, G

A late discovery for me and what a record. It still has that sound as if it was recorded in the same studio and with the same band as for the Kent sessions. I couldn't find a soundclip of this actual session. All I can find is a demo cut to give you the idea of the song https://www.allmusic.com/album/southern-soul-brothers-mw0000089384 play track 15. And then imagine a good jerky slightly funky band with wonderfull horn brass like they use to have on many Kent and Modern recordings. If you like Clay's voice and want something that holds soul, that could have spins at niters, that is defo not overplayed, this is it ! The flip is typical southern style ballad. Condition is EX- (few scuffs, not ugly at all) plays strong and loud on it's beautiful thick vinyl. POWER ! 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! I don't believe that the CRASH for the Joy-Tones or the TCB for the Love Potion are legit issues as often presented as first label or local issues predating the Coed or Kapp release. I would rather think that they are bootlegs. The song is so good and always had a club cult status in some circles. It was even release (without any deal) in Jamaica. My understanding is that the Joy-Tones on Coed is first but the story goes that Coed records was to cease all activity afterward and so didn't promote it better as it should have been. To supply the street demand, it was then booted on Crash. Then by 1969, it was given a second a second try as the Love Potion on Kapp and this was then booted on TCB.

Lee Charles first record, Dakar's first distributed by Atlantic and a rarer first promo press. Then you have two more reasons to have this is to listen to those two wonderful songs. With my preference for the original 'A' side. Condition is a real nice EX. !!! SOLD !!! 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! The Symphonics 'Boy (please help me)' ABC WDJ M- 25£ FREE SHIPPING - Real class from this Philly act that had 4 singles (as far as I know). All 8 descent sides wich some are just fabullous IMHO. 'boy' is sweet down tempo cheer brillance with appeal for both girl group fans & the lowriders. Peak at the scan and look at all the names involved in this project ! Flip side is good also but I couldn't find a sound clip of it. I would say it's less catchy than 'Boy'. M- (stamp on label and sleeve from Radio British Columbia ?) !!! SOLD !!! 25 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD ! Raw, naïve, gutsy, almost tribal, this teenage girl claiming her emancipation really does it for me. Listen and find out for yourself. The flip is again an OK thing that doesn't move me more than that ! Now overall condition is EX with no damage to the sound what so ever if and there's an if, if it was not for the slight OFF CENTER (only on 'no more' side) that is audible at the end of the song. It is there but, to my ears, it doesn't kill the listening. Mind you it's 150£ in JM ! 50 £ FREE POST TO ALL OVER THE WORLD !
