"look Into My Heart" La Soul Angel City Record's Xiantoni Ari Live
That's really nice. Shame about the distorted sound recording.

Del-Larks
That's great info re Tyrone Ashley aka SC. I really like his I Want My Baby Back flip of PLMBYM. Came across it recently and thought I recognised the voice! Is this the same guy who cut Ian Levine's Looks Like Love Is Here To Stay? If so what's it like? Edit just found it on You Tube! - not to my taste.

Trammps - Hold Back The Night
Dunno but here's a clip of the tune to listen to and try and work it out, which I put together a while back.

Tmg Or Us Original, Which Would You Go For Generally?
I was watching TMG 845 recently ( Eddie Kendricks - If You Let Me ) . I've got it an a USA white label but would prefer it on the G & W demo. Someone got a good deal! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDDIE-KENDRICKS-IF-YOU-LET-ME-UK-DEMO-ISSUE-MOTOWN-TMG-845-/310815880721?pt=UK_Records&hash=item485e11f611

Deserted Island Discs
Liked his drumming on the tune with Eddie Willis posted on here last year. Some nice choices for the desert island too.

The Task Ahead Of Me Is Huge
Yes a lot of crap on Pye - Ecstacy - Olliver Reed for example. That's on a Complation CD I've got " Here Come The Boys Vol 1 - selections from Pye/Piccadilly. Has got James Galt - Comes The Dawn on it though which is very good and would be good one for a podcast.

Real Soul Clubs Where Are They
Superb! Had to check out Denton & Cook via YouTube. Their General Direction is Moogtastic too! Love stuff like that. Got a fair bit myself - The Salon Band, Les Reed, Alan Hawkshaw, Roulettes.

Great Record
Agree the Hammond on Jumpin Jack Flash is absolutely superb. Mick Weaver responsible I think. He's up there with Ian MacLagan and Stevie Winwood two other great Brit organists.

Awesome - New - Soul Track Discovery - 1St Feb 2014
Agree - Great intro on the extended Mixcloud clip with sublime guitar, fantastic sounding horns and backing vocals and a great vocal performance. Need to hear the whole thing but the extended clip is extremely good.

Jeff Perry - Love Don't Come No Stronger
This thread isn't complete without the Soul Train clip which I posted up a couple of years ago at about the same time I won an ebay auction for a UK demo which the seller then promptly sent to the wrong address. He refunded the money and then sent an email a couple of months later ( which I didn't spot ) saying that it had found its way back to him and did I want it?. Bummer! I did eventually find another UK demo for about the same price. Here's the thread if anyone's interested.

Who Spun What First
Mick is Billy Whizz's younger brother. I heard him DJ recently in Norwich and he played some fantastic records The Mar J's Got To Find A Way being one of them.

Who Spun What First
My understanding is that Lorraine Silver LSL was discovered by Mick Maguire ( Norwich DJ ). He found it in a record shop in Cambridge.

Collecting Motown?
Another good Miracles 45 for the collection is Mickey's Monkey which is great in itself but has the fantastic Whatever Makes You Happy on the flip. Also, worth having the US Tracks Of My Tears as Fork In The Road is on the flip. Agree what you say about judging a collection by its Motown content.
