Dave I can assure you the Intro on the aectate thats been shownhere is different to other releases but as Ive only heard the Lps and the Dutch thats the limitation of my knowledge.

Another cracking night at BIR Dithers & matt played some great tunes but I would really like to see playlists on here as sometimes I miss the odd one I dont know. be nice as well to have a photo each week of whose in because some of us dont know all the Djs and it would be really great to see a pic of the person playing the tunes! My Impression Issue - Has the labels reversed- Have to be careful and listen when cuing up or I could be lazy and put the Mica copy on. Anyone seen a Mica demo?

God its so long ago but again £600 for a a 70s acetate that was cut for the impending issue of anorthern identified label for the masses is crazy!

I agree with you Martyn its worth £100 at the most Could have bought quite afew of those RCA acetates only a couple of years ago for around £30 -£50 each on ebay. I have one of the 2 original cut acetates for the Sidney Barnes Orch that was unnisued and was withdrawn before pressing on Destiny. That went for something like £350 on manships aution and I paid around £300 off Phil T for it I think- he will remind me if he sees this thread. So those 2 acetates are the only legal way to get the tune where as I think the argument here is that they were released and therefore the acetate was cut for purpose on a reissue label however this was never reissued and thats what makes it a bit complicated and why the acetate might command a silly price. Strange world of Northern soul - I think someone said that !
