  3. Anyone know what album this live version is off
  4. Thats alright on Now records. Nice clean copy Pm price and cond
  5. Yes but how can a record go up by nearly double the price and be less grade. I sold Jo hicks (DIMYFF) on here in Ex clean labels for £75 the guide rate approx - Yet a dealer has it for £130 in less grade with writing on the label! When I questioned him about it he said he had to pay 5 people out of his profit! I said it was distorting the market . I then asked him what he would give me for Gene Woodbury Ever again as I wanted to see what a dealer would offer and see the amount difference between what he would offer me / The price guide amount and what he would sell for based on his price re Joe Hicks - He never responded and they sell on here I think!
  6. One went on ebay last week for £30 and I missed it!
  7. Think this one is Dutch or German cant remember Its in VG+ cond £40 + postage
  8. I agree with the person who said you cannot seperate the white from the black on this and weve had this discussion before - the slant this time is the pop angle where most people associate white with pop but wouldnt it be great if someoone went on a show on tv and said they could tell white from black in relation to soul music - Instant fail IMO p.s. Condition Red is pure pop but one of the greatest Northern soul instrumentals of all time. I dont like Muriel Day at all - detest it but likewise I dont Barbara Lynn - Im a good woman - Its the record I dont like. I dont like Country & western but I love I wanna know by John E paul. Horses for courses as always. Yesterday I played what I called a poppy soul record on radio Jan Mitchell - Things I shouldnt have done I dont know if she is Black or white and I dont care - I just like it! Could you imagine all the Northern soul records we would dismiss if we equated soul only to Black artists because we dont in general regard black artists as pop artists within our genre of music we like! Thats the next title for John Manships book writing to go with the collection. US/UK White soul artists.
  9. Another one saying "no returns" which actually means Jack S**t because if its not as described you can return it - The problem for me (Not That IM ever gonna bid on this) is will you receive it in the first place? NO feedback whatsover - joined in August this year - The description has been cut an pasted from another listing! Good luck those that do bid!

  13. hmm heres another one:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-RODNEY-JONES-R-B-TIME-PART-1-c-w-PART-2-TIMELESS-CLASSIC-LISTEN-/290701101492?pt=UK_Records&hash=item43af22c9b4 £80 for a 2nd pressing! so My white demo must be worth more ! Nope about 20 quid less actually!
  14. Ive played it out in Scotland in the past - I love it!
  15. I keep coming back to this " What is Rare?" and wheres the evidence for it to be so rare! Every record is just a second away from being found in quantity unless paperwork proves otherwise!
  16. Id never cut a record- I once played the wrong side of a record - It was Lou Kirton- heaven in the afternoon about 8 years ago and I played the instrumental by mistake (Too many glasses of wine!) My mates were laughing so I got the crowd into Karaoke mood and had them singing the Chorus! Never done it again since! Played Judson Moore - Everybody push & pull right after a guy who played a Motown set (Again about 8 years ago)- suffice to say it cleared the floor- No way would I change it and when it finished Fraser Dunn stood there and clapped which made me feel pretty good. I then threw on Linda Jones to get the crowd back on the floor!
