    A year or so ago Ihad 2 rcorded deliveries go missing in a month and they were LP size packages- How the F++K can a parcel tha size go missing - Absolute hell to claim and got my ebay rating reduced as well to the point where they limited my sales!

    Chalky I read Benjis post to say that even his wasnt legit but in your post it could have been misinterpreted that you were talking about the test press not the acetate. ATB STeve I would have thought that Ady did have licence through Kent as Chalky says. I remember bumping into Richard S in Makro at the time of the Grapevine releases and he was saying RCA were a bit difficult when it came to licensing.

    Yes it is as it was authorised to be cut (Test press complete with engineers notes) whereas the Acetates are just Dubs full stop! The test press has verification by the RCA engineers notes!

    Just reminds me of Scoeys soul club when I was a teenager - Just an amazing record even if the Lp version does go on a bit long! The first words grip you into the song - "Hush now Child - and dont you cry"

    Following on from queries re US postage. I received a record from Family Groove records which is actually the label (They sell direct) From California They charged me $12 postage for first class international.- so I checked online the price for a 4 oz package as the record was shipped between 2 thin pieces of card and the label says 4 oz weight. According to the US postal site it costs $4.60 for a 4 oz packet. Whats your view of the postage rate they have charged? I will list up his response when I queried it and to be fair I did say I would discuss it on here which he took as a veiled threat.
