  6. NOW SOLD Selling a coffin style Aluminium Flight Case for my neighbours son, ex- bedroom DJ / hip hop nut....all in good working condition, but obviously used with a few marks on it. Fits two decks (or CDJ's I presume, looks to be enough room) and a small 2 channel mixer. If your interested, want to have a look, drop me a message....cheers Girth Check the link for more details....looking for around £40.... https://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/111807198/aluminium-coffin-flight-case-for-decks-and-mixer.html
  7. PMd you, cheers Gareth
  8. Sent you a PM...thanks Gareth
  9. Live & learn....MD is a great track - very popular with the UK garage boys and got lots of the usual unnecessary remixes...
  10. Pretty sure that MD is not a housed up version....two different tracks, same title...
  11. Got a US copy listed on discogs @ £20, i'd do it for £18 inc p&p, payment with bank transfer or paypal gift....cheers Gareth
  12. Welcome along Sean...told you the nice SSers would find you some goodies...
  13. Played a load of Randy Brown yesterday, prompted by this thread.....right up there with the very best......
  14. Funny, cos that was the look I was going for....
  15. Title also appears on the Randy LP on Choc City from 81....but i don't recall if its a different version ??
  16. Fairly good chance that yours is a reissue.....seen that multicoloured label on the reissues from 10 or so years back. My old 70s orig was the white label - got a UK Phillips copy now tho'......Girth This could be the one you have, gives some matrix details and run out numbers for you to check.... https://www.discogs.com/Gil-Scott-Heron-Pieces-Of-A-Man/release/1512600
  17. Alright Jock....there's a Skullsnaps on Ebay, in the UK - but maybe not in the best nick....Girth
  18. I've heard nothing...I would say its possibly just a temporary problem with the website.....cheers Gareth
  19. We always got asked for the studio version @ Crazy Beat - i'll have to have a listen to it again, its been a while....
  20. No, but i'd like one if it was....
  21. I kept a UK one too.....amazing band, love the live version of The Look In Your Eyes - now that on a 45 !!....
  22. Way too much IMO, but been a sought after 45 for a long time - nothing to do with the pic sleeve I wouldn't have thought. The full length studio version is (i think) only on the Live In New Orleans dbl LP, the 45s have edited versions of the studio cut - the US demo slightly longer, and the UK / US 12" feature a long live version recorded at Hammersmith - which nobody really wanted, nice enough but not a patch on the studio take - silly Capitol record executives. Released at a time when the 12" was king - I think i've seen under 10 copies of the US / UK 45s in all the years, and they always fly out the door....never seen the French issue.... Cheers Girth
  23. One of your faves Rog ;o)
  24. The UK 12" is a different mix. Compared this to the original 45 mix many years ago, and kept the 12". Not sure if the two 45s differ though. Cheers Gareth
  25. St Etienne already mentioned, here on another one... Quite an obscure one on an early Spice Girls album - the opening riff from Edna Wright - Oops Here I Go - heard it one Xmas round a family friends house, never heard it again, thank god... Girf
