  2. very sad news...never knew Keith until I turned up, unannounced, on his doorstep one Monday morning ,after being up all weekend, with Martin Meyler (who knew Keith well). He gave us a warm welcome and cooked us some spaghetti on toast for breakfast. Top Man R.I.P Keith.

  4. Baz really was a top geezer and real good company. He used to come down often to D.J. at our local soul dos. I can remember buying "Use it before you lose it" after hearing Baz playing it....took it home, played it...and I'm thinking this isn't the same version as Baz plays,it's not as good....fast forward to when I next hear Baz play it out and it dawns on me that my copy didn't sound as good because Baz is toasting over the mike while he's playing it ..... I've still got a copy of Harvey "Any way you want to" from around this time that Baz gave me with the cover up labels still on it as Sam Hawkins
  5. How about the purple vinyl demos..would they be worth any more

  8. Me likey Bought a copy off ebay about six months ago for $40. I've played it out at a local soul do.....though nobody seemed interested. Was this record badly pressed? The few copies I've heard all have that slight background hiss.
  9. Have seen a couple of copies go through ebay with no bids at $10 ish. Superb double sider IMO...though "Don't you think it's time" flip is the side for me
