  1. Another one! Am I the only person here whose mind is boggled by the idea of an original download?
  2. I can't tell whether this is a joke or not!
  3. Guitar Ray - You're Gonna Wreck My Life
  4. I guess this explains why The Shirtails - The Ceiling / Stay Away From The Fog appears on Checker listings as 1159. That's the cat number of the Prime label issue. I've never seen a Checker copy - has anyone else?
  5. Thanks for the input guys - great info here and the kind of thing that this site does so well. I've solved 1183, so this is what we have so for for the (Toledo) Chanson label: 1177 - Ike Noble - Your Love / Your Love Has Got Gusto 1177 - Charlie Chuck - Curiosity Kills / Disc Jockey Rap 1178 - Unlimited Four - I Wanna Be Happy / Calling 1179 - Mel Hueston - Double Confusion / Time and Patience 1180 - Unlimited Four - Slow Down / Walk Away Lover 1181 - Unlimited Four - Somebody Help, Please / True Love Is Hard To Find (I Believe In You) 1182 - Evalene Braden - Somebody Else / That's What Soul Is 1183 - Street People Incorporated - Hurt's On Me, Baby / Someday We'll Be Together 1184 - Bobby Shaw - Couped Up Apartments / Miserable World The Street People Inc 45 is written by S Robinson - presumably Sylvia and same as The Moments, which provides another link to All Platinum. Do we think that's it or there any further releases?
  6. Richard S's old Chester Pipkin C/U Tone. Got a copy of Got To Have More Love here if you need one, too - save on postage
  7. Fingers crossed for you mate
  8. Issue or promo is ok. PM please. Cheers
  9. Billboard 1970 has Unlimited Four recording in Detroit for a Chanson release though. Not that easy to read I'm afraid but it's seven lines from the bottom.
  10. Thanks Lars. The Ike Noble in the discogs listing is a weird one: it's supposed to share its cat number with Charlie Chuck 1177, yet there's no reference to that number on the label. Same 'Czar music' and H Collins credits as other Chanson releases though. Anyone know what 1181 is?
  11. The label for Unlimited Four, Mel Hueston etc. Where is it from? I gather U4 were from Detroit yet the label was distributed by All Platinum (NJ). Can anyone point me at any info - and ideally a label listing please? Cheers
  12. Unmistakably Pierre Hunt though. What a horrible singer he truly is.
  13. PM sent re a nice cheap Capricorn copy if that's any use.
  14. Yep. https://www.juno.co.uk/products/mary-lou-group-you-know-baby-reissue/523163-01/
  15. I think there may have been a recent press of this
  16. Rest easy Joe.
  17. This reminds me of a similar story - now what is it? Oh, I remember... ...I'll be believe it when I see the holes in his hands
  18. And there's the rub. There's a perception these days that anyone wanting to collect will also want to DJ eventually...
  19. What?? I'm up early and I think my eyes must be glued together. Surely a US issue is no more than £150 at the very most??? UK copies were always more expensive (but not that much more!) Flabbergasted of North Yorkshire
  20. Jean and the Darlings - How Can You Mistreat The One You Love - Volt Copy of this cheapie needed by Friday if possible please. Short turnaround not an excuse for micky taking ta Thanks Paul (Godz)
  21. Now sorted and very happy
  22. There's an Italian release for Rocky Roberts in a pic sleeve Dave
  23. I have the soundtrack to the sequel. The Sloopys tracks are Ramsey Lewis style instrumentals. Great artwork on both LPs!
