  3. oops! Too late
  4. Craig Moerer has a buy it now one for $35 inc postage; https://cgi.ebay.com/ROBERT-THOMAS-Salvatio...6QQcmdZViewItem You'd probably pay at least that for a used one from the UK with current exchange rate, Paul. Godz
  5. Sure we've done this before but it might have been a while ago. Two cats: Mayfield and Bootsy Godz
  6. I didn't include you in the wishful thinking stakes, Pete. Cheers for the info. looks like I'm about to do a bit of haggling. Godz
  7. What's a fair price for The Ballads - I Can't See Your Love - Vee Jay currently? To buy I mean rather than what you might hopefully get if selling Cheers people. Godz
  8. Jordi, I think what you have is a tailor made vocal to AOTR by the so called Charades "Dreaming a Fantasy" or something like that, with the inst on the flip. Done around the same time as the (not) Dena Barnes - "These Heartaches" with Duke Browners backing track and a vocal to Double Cooking among others. The first boot of the tune was on Soul Beat as far as I remember and was white with black print and credited it to "of the Rhino" rather than "on". Godz
  9. Bloody horrible tune anyway.
  10. Did you get my PM from daft o'clock this morning, Mal? Godz
  11. This often gets used with classical records. It's called the Bok to Bach method. Coat just being buttoned... Godz
  12. We've just been shopping in Scarborough town centre and heard the same Ike and Tina track in Debenhams. I told Mrs G about this thread and suggested we check out TK Maxx. We were in for less than 10 minutes and caught (sandwiched between two unexceptional rnb tracks) Moses Smith - Girl Across The Street. Is there something we haven't been told? Godz
  13. Quick! Put it back. Then lock the box and put something really heavy on it! Godz
  14. Jean Carter I remember finding a copy on Stateside in a junk shop, getting it home and having the life nearly scared out of me by that screechy moog sound I think I was hoping that the other side, "And None" would be similar to "Like One" Fat chance! Godz
  15. Class find Gene. Small print makes especially good reading! Godz
  16. In fairness he does sound like he's playing it with his elbows. Just adds to the naive charm of the tune though Godz
  17. He must be listening to the a cappella Pete.
  18. I wish that horrible vocal version of 6 x 6 was an instrumental...
  19. Yeah organ. It's the bit that isn't singing, piano or drums. Tried these Simsy? Godz
  20. Don't know why you should have proplems with the link, Alan, but well done for having a go. Here's one you got right without even hearing it! Not going to drag this out for ever so here's the rest. Obviously a bit harder than I thought! Cheers to all who particpated.
  21. Off to york to see some pals playing now so I'll answer any more questions / guesses when I get home around midnight. Somebody should have got Wichita Lineman by now though...
  22. Bit better than that I hope! Anybody fancy giving the old dog a run for his money? At least the Pikey one's having a knock.
  23. Kind of in the right area though.
  24. Thought you'd lost your form for a moment.
