  1. Oooohhh - I dunno. This big then. What difference does it make? Should have said minty wax too - I realise there's a red x on the label of course. Cheers Pete as well btw
  2. Going rate on a minty white promo of Keep On Keeping On please chaps. Cheers Paul
  3. Guilty! I've got loads more of this sort of 'blue eyed with a beat' type stuff as well - a lot of it worse than this too
  4. Just realised as well - my old boot of Val Palmer / Richie Brown is black with silver text. Have I got the original boot then?
  5. Both the Hit and Twin Hits label were cheapo labels issuing cover versions of chart hits. Not sure if they were related though. There's a a full Hit records discog here: Hit Records You'll see loads of Herbert Hunter and Peggy Gaines stuff on the label. Twin Hits was a really nice looking label
  6. Well in fairness Rich, he does say 'repress' and makes it clear that there's a different artist on the flip. Know what you mean though - I always wonder how high profile shops like Juno and Tunes.co.uk get away with advertising all this blatant booty stuff. Can't help you on details of the OG though. My specialist subject is worn looking Chess boots with different geezers on each side
  7. These were done a couple of years ago I think, and they all look like that. Nothing to do with the seller.
  8. Yo're right Matt - decent funk instrumental - but equally terrible recording or pressing as I recall. Anyway, I thought we were supposed to flip old fogotten Northern sounds to uncover funk gems - not the other way round
  9. I think I have a copy of Sandy Layne somewhere Jocko. £15 + p&p if you want it it. Drop me a PM if you'd like me to dig it out. Cheers Paul
  10. - not that fed up obviously! Good luck though Godz
  11. Now open to offers and first post amended accordingly: See that post details of when I'm around
  12. August Moon now sold to a nice buyer. I'll still take offers on the other stuff until tomorrow. Surprised no-one's had The Orientals Godz
  13. Reduced - and link to old stuff now sorted
  14. A copy of August Moon - You're Together Baby / Wasted Years - O-Gee Underplayed 60s stomper backed with an indemand midtempo tune. I prefer the faster side myself, but I'm old fashioned like that. Rarely comes up. Now SOLD+ £5.20 special delivery UK (insured) Condition is VG++ would be ex but for a couple of wavy surface scratches on the 'Together' side that are inaudible. Nice and glossy vinyl: Check clips and scans. I need to sell this by 8am tomorrow or it goes back in the box. VG+ shows some wear but no real discernable loss of sound quality. label might have a little wear or flaking. VG++ looks played, odd mark but sounds close to mint. NM As good as it gets, possibly very light paper marks but even unplayed stock gets this grade. Any noticeable defects like stickers, cue burn or styrene noise will be noted. Don't be shy to ask for clips to check sound or hear stuff that's not familiar. That goes for cheap stuff too. 17. Hey - no need to be sorry mate. I only added that cos that's what it says on the label . I wasn't suggesting any of these were particularly rare either, just didn't want to stick £10 on a £1 record or vice versa.
  18. Cheers Adrian and Adam. Major has a sticker on the flip so i was thinking of sticking 25 on it whcih doesn't seem far out. Is the Archie Bell UK only as well? I was guessing about the same for that but wasn't too sure. Paul
