Any Experts On German 60s Releases About At The Moment?

Wow thanks guys, better than I thought! Wasn't sure if there was actually a market for this as I though a lot of the German collectors actually go for US issues as a preference. Glad to wrong Anyway it is for sale and I'm going to post a clip there once I get the other stuff I'm listing ready. It's probably VG visually but plays really well as the clip will show. Feel free to make offers in the meantime Paul -
How about this: Lollipops - Love is the Only Answer - RCA Germany issue. Looks kinda cool doesn't it? But how about value - bonzer or bobbins?
-
No sweat Bob. Get it now Actually it probably will make the mainstream press over here. Not sure how much difference that will make though
-
Potatoe's? Are you related to Dan Quayle?
-
So are you saying I didn't misunderstand him? And someone will pay £25k for something that they're not interested in and don't have a grasp of its heritage? Not being difficult here, but I just don't get the logic. Surely for that much cash you could buy some other one-off artifact that would have a lot more kudos in the big wide world of collecting?
-
Well you should make yourself a bit more clear when you say "people who don't normally bid on soul records" then.
-
Does it have that holy grail status outside of the soul, and specifically Northern Soul scene though Boba? I mean are you saying Elvis and Beatles collectors will want it? Or even collectors of Damien Hurst or old masters?
-
Flippin' 'eck fingers. Can you print that all in one font and one colour? I can't even start to read it without my brain leaking
-
This is going to be fascinating. Regardless of the writing, would it ever fetch what Kenny paid for it? I mean even if mint, are there two collectors out there who want it enough to bid it up to that amount?
-
There's another one though isn't there? One of the infamous Soussan ones same time as George Blackwell and all that lot that were sold as originals. Can't remember how thick the vinyl was, but as I recall it was vinyl with a moulded over label. Certainly didn't look like the later rubbish styrene boot.
-
Got a nice shiny M- Winfield Parker for £16 including postage. PM me if interested Paul (Godz)
-
In view of the topic on wants, I'd like to make it clear the above statement was a misguided attempt at humour I'll pay what I consider to be the going rate for this: £30 in M- Godz
-
Need a copy of Salvation Train please. Current student status means short arms long pockets at the mo too. Do really want it though. PM if you can help. Cheers Paul (Godz)
-
Got a nice M- one with a spotless label.Vinyl too. Got anything funky you wanna trade Dave? PM me if so mate Paul (Godz).
-
OK Epic. Point taken and apologies for being a tad slow. I'm just dim not malicious. Still, reinforces the point that he would be an asset to this site though don't you think?
-
Ahh. Wasn't exactly clear, but I guess we didn't see it in context. Any idea why he doesn't come on here? He's another who would have a wealth or record related tales that it would be great to hear.
-
A year out then. Not too bad As for no original 45 - that's why I said I assume CC was referring to the UK issue as a first. That's actually the point of my question - to find out when he lost records. Certainly after '77 then Godz
