  1. Yep, it was covered up as LA Power and Light - Casino Strut, real band was Leo & Co - Hot Dog on 12'' Gamma I think it was a advert song in Canada. Cheers Steve
  2. No Pete it wasn't me, but we have chatted about it a few times because for a while it seemed nobody else knew it. Great tune An old mate of mine has a copy which he's had since Wigan days and sometimes toys with the idea of selling it. He had it in his box a few months back and I knew Fluff Freeman was after a copy so I checked with Mark who said he'd like it I then lost the guys number and when I saw him again he wasn't selling it:angry: I've only seen 2 copies ever! Cheers Steve

  19. Blimey I've just rec'd a Wigan tape from 78 and Dickie plays probably the worst record I have ever heard. I think he says it the Cameros It starts off as Dum dum, dummy do dar be doobie, dum dum dummy do dar be doobie, I want , want you to knnoooow, how much I need you soooo Wasn't this some awful pop hit? I might have to post a clip to him to play on Smooth FM, saying explain this Still I guess a few bad tracks amongst all the great ones he played he can be forgiven But seriously it is awful awful ......... Cheers Steve
  20. Yeah I agree Smiffy although Steve Jeffries covered it as Florence Devoree and it reached 'massive' status at Abingdon in 78 it was really more of a Youth club tune, much like Sandi Shaw, Petula Clark, etc Cheers Steve
