If that counts, Malayka played it regularly at our SoulShakers dos over here in Bamberg about two years ago. She has one with a small 45rpm, but for a find in a recordstore in Switzerland @ 1 Franc, not bad... (would also fit to the 57p thread) best, Martin

Yep, have to agree with Heikki, proper sound quality on the french soul record label. I'm playing it from time to time over here, but I don't know of the sound quality on the spanish copy. cheers, Martin

I also use the mic from time to time, when I'm dj-ing here in Germany. But I speak on german, not english. I don't quite get, why it should help to create an atmosphere. When I say something,which doesn't happen too often, I want the audience to understand it, so it's probably easier in our own languages. By the way, for me king on the mic is Dave Rimmer, I never understand anything, but he gets the floor buisy, when he shouts into it. best, Martin

There are really many good double sider, lots of classics like the Steinways on Oliver or Lorraine Chandler on Giant. But I'd take probably a 45 with me at the moment, that would also fix under the Cheapies topic: The Enchated Five - Try a little love / Have you ever - CVS, two great crossover sides. cheers, Martin PS: If I had to choose an album, I'd take the Voices of East Harlem / Can you feel it.

I dont want to embaress the man but I saw Dave Thorley dance in the modern room at the Nurenberg weekender and he was brilliant....that guy can move...it was the first time I`d seen Dave dance ever! Chris I had him dancing around in my living room on christmas. That was some kind of frightening! Because it's a small one with my records in. Saw him in Nuremberg too, he's still a pretty good dancer. Martin
