I personally wouldn't give a tenner for it. I couldn't stand to play it because of all the background noise, and it doesn't even look good for display. I think if a minty demo ever came up for sale, you could retire on the proceeds.

This one could use a little rubbing down with wet and dry.

Manship price guide states: £3500 for an issue & £4000 for the demo.

Went round in person, but the owner is never there. He owns six cinemas and is involved in other business. The manager gave me the email address. Just been round there again and spoken to a nice young woman who was far more helpful than the manager, but apparently the owner is a very hard man to track down. I will keep trying, but time is running out.

I have been trying to organise a screening at the Plaza Cinema in Skipton in North Yorkshire. It's a small old school type cinema that would suit the film perfectly. Problem is I can't get in touch with the owner, who won't answer my emails.

Polishing records is ok in theory, if you are doing it for your personal collection. Problems arise when people sell these records on as being in EX condition. If you tilt them to the light you can see the very strange effect of the grooves. I have been sold loads of them, and they never sound right. I always send them straight back and ask for a refund.

I agree with the earlier posters myself, PS is just too long and actually starts to irritate me with that messy middle section. Less is more.

Very strange record and one that I can never get to love, but it's nearly brilliant. Ester Grant is another one. First time I heard it I thought what a messy racket. Twelve months later and I'm up dancing to it. Love it now.

This is just another way of polishing a record. There's loads around and I hate them. Just don't sound right to me.

FB on Gamble is amazing price. I can remember struggling to get rid of a copy. So much so I would never buy another in case I got stuck with it.

It's bad grammar mate, does my head in. Anyway some kind person has corrected it so I'm very happy now. And I've been on Prozac for years.

If I owned those records, I'd play them as well. As would any other person, and that's the problem. I would play them interspersed with lesser known tunes and not one after the other, and that's the difference. Mix it up a bit.

That's not my experience mate, especially if you are on a monthly basis. Most of the so called up front venues are 4 times a year, because they can't get the support every month.

The way the classics are going at the moment, if JM auctioned a minter I reckon it would go over £2k. All those times in the distant past when I turned it down, not knowing how good the other side was.

I was merely stating why there are so many venues on the same night. Hundreds of Dj's need hundreds of venues.

Never going to happen, and we have discussed it to death on many occasions. The nub of it is this, back in the day there were a handful of Dj's and hundreds of people who just wanted to dance. Now there are hundreds of Dj's and just a handful of people who can dance. That is all.
