I did get a copy for Mr. Murphy recently, but I don't think I should disclose the amount on here...... I bought my own copy off Pete Smith about a year ago and paid £400 for it. The sound quality on the Washpan 45 is crap. John Manship did have a proper test pressing of it but it was very expensive, £500 I think. But I love it, very atmospheric. Phil.

That particular copy was bought by a mate of mine, and sounded very good at The Burnley Allnighter when he played it a couple of weeks ago. Can someone please explain this to me. Did Bobby Cutchins do a 12 inch of this track as well? I can remember Richard Sirling playing this on his radio show, and saying that it was Bobby Cutchins? I actually prefer this version as a dance tune, the other is more soulful. I just think this has got that "something" that makes it a bit special. It's definately the backing track, and I don't normally like the 70s + stuff at all. I would actually buy this, except that I have nothing else to play with it.
