  1. The Archie Bell is an absolute steal, paid a fortune for mine.
  2. I'll try one, haven't a clue how.....
  3. Don't get one big 'un, get two smaller ones. Otherwise you end up with one arm longer than the other and a bloody hernia to boot Plus with two equal size boxes they balance you up, and are a lot easier to move around. I'm currently using the Swan flight boxes, and have to say they are truly wonderful, and they are very quick and helpful. https://www.swanflight.com/ they are quite simply the best. Not cheap mind.
  4. ee gart a perdie mouth ain't he, squeal like a pig boy eeeeeeeeeeee!

  12. The acetate that Stuart Bennett has came from Richard Watts collection. And it originated from John Anderson. Deffo pucka and sounds fantastic. 7inch. Be interesting to hear the one that John auctions and compare them. Phil.

  19. I did a similar thing a couple of years ago. I was really ill with some kind of flu. Anyway there was a record on ebay that I really wanted, so I dragged myself out of my sick bed to have a look at how it was going. Later that night I decided to put a bid on it . So worked out my maximum bid [think about £500] and then changed it to dollars, about $850 and stuck it on the sniper. Imagine my delight next day when I switch on and see my email CONGRATULATIONS YOU WIN etc. Bargain thinks I. Seller was from Leicester and the currency POUNDS Record cost me £850
  20. Hey Joan, Stuart got an original acetate of down in the dumps off Dickie a while back, played it at Burnley a couple of months ago. Sounded brilliant.
  21. Don't do it mate. You could end up like me. I started with the same ideals but somewhere along the line. It all went mental. Stick to CD's it's far safer..... Don't say I didn't warn you. Welcome to the asylum.
  22. I played it at the last Burnley Allnighter. Didn't realise it was so well known.
