  1. Yep, you're right Gash. The gold is styrene, and the yellow is vinyl.....I was told that the gold is Detroit, and the yellow Chicago, but I'm not sure? I would always go for the yellow, I've had a couple of gold ones that have hissed due to being played with bad styli.
  2. Do you have a sound file please? is it 70's? I think Trevski was after a copy of this??
  3. Shifty sold one recently, and I nearly fainted when he told me how much he got for it.
  4. HOORAH!!!!!! THANK GOD FOR MIKE. I'VE BEEN TOTALLY LOST.........
  5. I can't believe this. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=018 when did this record become sooooooo expensive? whoops! I meant to put the ebay item number, but lost my conection. 280186991600
  6. I agree that Richard Searling was amazing in his day. But wasn't that because a certain Mr. Anderson was feeding him the tunes? And come to think of it, wasn't John responsible for a lot of Mr. Levines tunes as well?.........In fact, most of the people that I have met that have fantastic collections, have got John Anderson to thank for them.
  7. Got these for sale, I need to raise some money as usual. PM me if you are interested. Thanks for looking...... £700 M- £300 EX SOLD £40 M-
  8. I've heard there's a couple of copies under offer at the moment. Have heard the figure of £2500 mentioned. I have been offered 2 in the past week, but I'm not interested. Not a proven rarity yet as it's only just been uncovered. Phil.
  9. The Ditalians first released on Trip which was part of the Saxony set up. Different flip for the Saxony release Isn'n the Saxony release a re-issue Chalky?
  10. I was always led to believe that Little Willie Falk was the harder one, but you never see Ree Flores either. Prefer L.W.F version myself, and would love to own it. Anyone?
  11. It's all about making money I'm afraid.......Trying to find a venue that will put on an allnighter isn't easy. Getting staff to run the bar, and good security to work from 12 till 8, is nigh on impossible.....The venue owners aren't stupid, and don't want to open at 12, for people who have been elsewhere drinking for hours, then come in and drink bottled water till 8am. They don't do it for the love of our music. They do it for hard cash. I used to open at 11pm, and close at 6am. [there's no way that the owner or the staff would work later than that.] And don't forget, it takes at least another hour to pack up, and clean up for the next night. I was talked into starting at 10pm, so as to give people a chance to DJ, and show us what they can do.....The staff moan about the time every month. They want to get home from work, just like we do..... Phil.
