  5. Just looked on Gemm..... .....when did this become a big money tune.....one at $551 and one at $230...... ....fookin crackers.
  6. Isn't the red bird one very rare?
  7. Will they get the record though????? I never did, or my money back!!!!!!! Buyers beware.......
  8. A minty copy just went through ebay dirt cheap...
  9. Ey up Sid, the yellow label is deffo vinyl & the gold label is deffo styrene. Had them both at one time or another.....you need to play the gold ones very carefully, as they are prone to hiss down one channel. Better off going for the yellow one. Price seems to be somewhere between £300 & £400....both are genuine, not sure which was first though. Phil.
  10. I don't believe it! [in voice of Victor Meldrew] the bloody parcel has only gone and turned up Unbelievable, just got the money through last night. It's taken over 2 months....right, better get onto paypal and return the dosh.... Many thanks for all the advice and good wishes. Phil.
  11. I tried that Baz, but all it tells you is that it went into the system at the sellers end, and that's it. Also, I'm sure she said that she couldn't claim as she didn't have the parcel insured? It's a real pisser, I've never lost anything before, I'm going to be more careful in future. Phil.
  12. Think Mick H. got it Phil.
  13. ......my no.1 want and I missed it......
  14. Ahhh! didn't know that, many thanks, I'll email the seller. Phil.
  15. I won a couple of records on ebay on 28th September, paid by paypal, and waited eagerly for their arrival......and waited......and waited......you get the picture, nothing forthcoming....so I asked the seller what was the state of play.....she sent me a USPS tracking number for the parcel, and assured me they would turn up soon.....they didn't, but I was confident that the seller had posted them in good faith.....In all the years that I've been buying 45's, I've never had one go missing before. I got a message from paypal saying that the closing date for making a claim was soon to run out.....so I made a claim, thinking that paypal would investigate the transaction, see that the seller was genuine, and would recompense me.......er no.....they have made the seller refund me. ......I feel terrible....I mean, I want my money back [though I'd rather have the 45's], but how can the seller be culpable, when it's the postal service that have lost the parcel? I feel for the seller who has done nothing wrong......what do you think?..... Phil.
  16. YOU DID!!!!
  17. I could have sworn that I had it on a green vault label in the 70's, and I'm convinced it was vinyl...
  18. In fairness Richie, a friend of mine was very interested in it, and has had a very close look at the copy in question. He said it looks Mint, but is very grainy vinyl, and you can't do anything about poor quality vinyl. I've had records that look as though they have never seen a needle, but if there is a lot of re-used vinyl in the disc they sound like a pan full of streaky bacon.
  19. Click on this, and then on auction, obviously, https://www.raresoulvinyl.co.uk/
  20. Tone get back to work, or you'll have no recids left....
