Had one in the early 70's off Brian 45 Phillips....had all the big tunes of the day on...absolutely fantastic it was.....think I copied it for loads of people.....still talked about today. Also had one off Les Cockell around same time....sublime....some of the tunes were played later as cover ups. Phil. -

Sorry Bob, you are right.....I got carried away. Many of these not really ebay regulars, but just seem to be for sale often now. Also if you go out to nighters over here, every DJ seems to have a copy all of a sudden.

I have always found that if you grade conservatively, and offer a money back guarantee, there is never a problem. Problems emerge when seemingly charming sellers, suddenly turn into absolute t**ts, if you ask for a refund on a 45 that you are not happy with. If you are straight with people, grading is irrelevant.

Nice post KB. I honestly thought that the Kings Hall did play all the big tunes from the past? Maybe like a lot of soul nights that I've attended, they seem to stick to the Casino playlist? Rather than the Wheel, Catacombs, Torch and early Mecca stuff. I don't know what the answer is for you, as I don't attend that kind of event. Surely someone on here will reccomend a night that would be up your street. Maybe post up a list of your fave tunes just to give us an idea of where you are at, musically? Just a shame that you aren't going out anymore.... Phil.
