  10. Yep, these are the bollocks....
  11. No, just cheap classics mate.
  12. They sound bob on, many thanks. Phil.
  13. Many thanks Benji and Greg, much appreciated. Phil.
  14. Many thanks Benji, looks like nobody else is interested, that's how they get away with selling us rubbish, apathy. I got this one with a record from Japan some time ago. Best design I've ever seen, and lovely stiff card. Brilliant.
  15. I have been looking for some good quality, heavy duty, white card 7" covers for a long time now, I've even tried some from the States. Problem is they all seem to be the same crap thin flimsy things, and smaller in size, which makes it fiddly when using a paper inner sleeve. I am toying with the idea of getting some specially made, and wondered if anyone else would be interested in buying some? Phil.
  16. More than strange Ted, can't believe anyone would pay anything for that 45. Especially when you struggle to sell quality rarities on here. You can buy records, but you can't buy taste.
  17. Sorry if this is in the wrong place Mike, please move if it is. Please note that this new promotion [because thats what it is] is not a Soul Hawk Promotion, and has nothing what so ever to do with me. Thank you. Phil.
  18. The Fabulous Apollos The one alone Valtone I have a M- issue of this for £300 Phil.
  19. Who cares Nev, it's woeful white pop music to me.
  20. Think the guy has great taste personally.......
  21. Paul, good luck to you mate, I've discovered that I am part of a tiny minority so am giving up posting. I know nothing..... atb. Phil.
  22. Can I just set the record straight please on the subject of the Burnley allnighter ending? 1. There was no problem with the venue, I had a fantastic relationship with Gary & Susan and consider them friends. 2. There wasn't really a problem with numbers through the door. It wasn't packed on the last night, but it was a very enjoyable one, or so I was told by the people who attended. 3. I didn't throw my toys out of the pram about anything or anyone. The allnighter came to an end because my resident Dj's couldn't commit to attending every month, and personally because of the time and money that I was putting into it, it wasn't worth going bi monthly or quarterly, and because I still couldn't get guarantees that the Dj's would turn up. In my opinion the Burnley allnighter was special because of the resident Dj's. In particular I think that Cliff Camfield and Karl Heard at Burnley, were the best I've ever seen at getting a venue rocking, and with original sounds too. Fantastic! Also there was no agenda to make the music policy all uptempo 60's but the dancers demanded it. We did play some mid tempo stuff, though just not all at once. Sorry if this seems off topic, but people keep making references about Burnley and I just wanted to set the record straight. PS after reading this thread, I realise that I belong to a very small minority group, so I may as well shut the **** up. Phil.
  23. Well I can't speak.......personally I would rather have my toe nails pulled out with a pair of rusty pliers than listen to, let alone dance to that, but it just goes to prove how splintered a bunch we really are in our musical taste. I congratulate you on your success, and bow to your superior knowledge........ What the fook do I know....... ........very little it seems.
  24. Thanks Sean, but my point is, it's not what you would call allnighter music is it? Which in my humble opinion should be, mainly 60's, in your face, get up and fookin dance music. That's what I'm talking about......
