Dry sense of humour, great taste in music, reasonable prices on record sales and happy to pass on knowledge without being big headed......

I assume the "buyer" had provided name and postal address . Why not send him/her the police.

Thanks for that, so both versions do exist.
Wand #11293 is a Part 1 & 2 affair .... so are they just cut down versions of the 5min 34sec track on #11283 or a re-recorded version ??
Doesn't Steve Guarnori have them all?

The billboard add quotes 11283

I posted a birthday card to a mate living in Manhattan......it took two full weeks to get delivered. Nowt to do with customs and all to do with a very poor customer service in the US.
PS. Ever fancied being invisible? ...... Go to a Post Office in Manhattan and you might as well be.

I visit NY on a fairly regular basis and have only managed to time one stay with a proper 60/70 northern soul event.....Subway Soul which is run by a guy called Phast Phreddie....... I did write a review of the event but as far as I know there hasn't been once since. Dave Withers(lives in NJ) has promised to let me know if another one is planned.
Botanica Bar down on 47 E Houston has a soul night on a Wednesday evening but there is not much in the way of dancing.....
Brooklyn Bowl (in Williamsburg) sometimes has a soul/motown evening with a live band but not a regular thing.
CLICK HERE for a link to the last Subway Soul event...

What about 'mint minus'? The most meaningless grading of them all? It's either mint or it's not mint. If it's not mint, because it's been played or has a few hardly discernible flaws, then it's Excellent (which is non-existent in some grading systems, including on here). You're either pregnant or your not pregnant. You can't be very nearly pregnant.
"Can I get" drives me nuts as well. As does waiters and shop assistants young enough to be my grandson calling me "mate", but especially being called "guys"............
I don't mind "mint minus" as I know it will be very good....
what bugs me is VG which means scratched and scuffed with snap crackle and pops....and then the most stupid G ....
G = crap.

It's saved me more than £75 over the years. Do I take it that this edition has the colour photos of various boots / second issues / originals. Thought the 5th edition was most valuable for that detail.
Goodness.... If I had purchased at them "Guide Prices" .... I would be more than £7500 worse off ! ?

In relation to ad
Have you split them off from the "limited 400" albums or are the "whole bunch" you have extra pressings of the single alone?
Does DG have the rights to all the stuff on the album?

Can any body shed any light on the Debonaires - Loving you takes all of my time / Headache in my heart - Solid Hit 102
and what colour label was the first issue I have a light blue copy stamped but the only pictures I can find are the light blue with red circles
Thanks
daveThe Solid Hit label variation with Headache In My Heart on the A side has a different flip side to yours.
I think Steve Guarnori on here has both in his little collection.

Chrissie Osbourne - RIP
in All About the SOUL
Posted · Edited by Rbman
I am surprised this hasn't been posted by others on here but I understand that Chrissie's fight with a brain tumour finished on Monday .
She was Blue Skies' main publicist and the Queen of what became called Mamsey Pamsey soul tunes when she DJed.
RIP and keep playing them up top.
