The one I've got is identical to the one you linked to. But interestingly, I was the seller of the other one as well, and the buyer of the last WD!

How do you mean about hyped prices? I reckon this is worth £125. Not sure if there are any demos of this though.

Plot thickens. I've also got an original Rules Of Love version one sided demo and the run off stamps and markings are identical to the blue copy and to the white reissue!

I think I agree with you Eddie - my favourite 'non-Northern Soul' soul record - bought it when it came out, actually thats a lie, I went to a party and took a load of records with me, this one somehow came back with me, but whatever. The weird thing is, on that copy where he sings "I say I'l leaving but I don't have the heart", it skips a groove, and every time I hear it I expect it to jump. Anyone else have that, when a record has always jumped in the same place?

Of course he is worried about the dosh otherwise it would be a set sale not an auction wouldn't it. I've no problem with the first part of the sales pitch, it's the bit where he tells people not to tell anyone what it is that rattled Steve by the look of it.

There aren't any. I had that confirmed to me by members of the band many many years ago. Tell you what though, I might be imagining this but I swear Dave Flynn has a 10" acetate of Kenny Bernard doing One In A Million, using the Chapter Five backing track, he played it at Brighton once. Bernard and C5 probably had the same manager.

Can't see what there's not to like about it apart from one poor bit by the male backing vocalists on the chorus, otherwise, an uptempo dancer with a wailing girl vocal and thunderous timpanis, get in there!
