Soul Night Disgrace
The sound quality of the Frankie Crocker pressing is as good as the original as it was a licensed press by All Platinum. Unless you mean the later white label one.

Soul Night Disgrace
I did - last week - a Delreys Inc pressing to replace my original I sold a couple of years back. Still sounds great despite the label being the wrong shade of green.

Dusty Wilson "it´s Going To Be A Tragedy"
I'll give you my right arm for it - it's got several tattoos on it but still might come in useful (p.s. if this gets lost in translation, "giving your right arm" is about the best you can offer)

Can Anyone Enlighten Me

Cleethorpes Pier 1975 Live Tape
It's actually called "Parade of a bunch of fools" Mark. For years I thought it was called "Parade of fools" because thats how it was listed on the old Emidisc list where you could get anything cut via the back bar at Wigan.

Advice Please
So because you took steps to make sure his item arrived safely, YOU are to blame? If you'd done it his way, he wouldn't even see any of the £32 you can claim and because he didn't follow your policies anyway, he hasn't got a leg to stand on. I'd tell him to do one, it was his choice not to have the item insured.

Whatever Happened To Pep?
Thats right, he has a hotel in Tywyn (Towyn).

Soul Night Disgrace
Unfortunately many of us do jobs that don't work out and we have to move onto something new, it's no different for these artists, they didn't make it in their chosen profession, tough shit.

Anybody Want Any Of These?
Mike I would havebeen interested in all these but as you haven't put any conditions down, making an offer is nigh on impossible? Marsha Gee - Baby I Need You - Uptown Ann Sexton - You've Been gone too Long - Seventy7 (Yellow) Vibrations - Cause You're mine - Epic Tommy Frontera - Leading Lady - Hi Lite

Run Run Roadrunner Jerry Williams
That Charlie Thomas record is incredibly hard to find despite it being a 1974 or 75 release, I actually got one YESTERDAY and it's the first I've even seen for going on 7 or 8 years. His other EMI record is very common but this one just seems to have vanished.

Burnely is an upfront venue playing newies and rarities though Steve and thats not the sort of place I am on about, I'd expect originals only and a few obscurities/try outs there.

No I'm saying if you were to try it, you would lose the floor for a good period of time, especially if they were uknowns

Your Favourite Dee-jays
you're talking about his first stint at Wigan in 1975, he's better know for his 77/78 appearances where he was playing records that neither Russ or Richard had at the time, mainly East Coast sounds like Interplay, Arthur Freeman, The Camp, Chris Cerf and so on, all of these came from either St Ives or Cleethorpes.

Soul Night Disgrace
You must have been the only person in the country who didn't then, aged 14 I got 50p pocket money a week, how did you manage to get all the top "non boot" sounds?
-
Soul Night Disgrace
size 8, not 10 honestly - what business of mine is it to tell someone what they can and cannot play?
-
Soul Night Disgrace
And is also uninteresting to the majority of people attending northern soul events and not worth bootlegging as they would only sell 3 copies...
