  1. all proper Atlantic red demos are rare - what are you on about now
  2. UK recording - I've got a single by them on CBS. Yours must be worth £20 I'd have thought, very obscure.
  3. I know the writers but I've never heard of the record before and I thought I'd seen most of them on British!
  4. Toni Basil was covered up as Lada Edmund Jr - Break These Chains. What a fabulous record.
  5. Sold mine to Mr Searling who I believe still has it. Bought it off Mark Wills in 1988. Funny how you can remember these things and know exactly where a copy of a record has been for 20 years
  6. https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BABY-EARL-TRINI-DADS...1QQcmdZViewItem also it's one to add to the London/Decca distributed label thread
  7. Mate if someone took your money and won't give it back that makes it stealing which is a criminal offence, give him one more chance then call the police and tell you've done so
  8. Too slow by a mile
  9. David. One more thing I forgot to mention. I also contacted the police about him. I don't know if they made a phone call or something. I did get my money back.
  10. What a load of bollox - the Judy Street bit - that was as good a record as any and is still a brilliant Northern record. Imagine hearing it foe the first time.
  11. He;'s not saying it should be played instead of anything else, just that it's a good pop northern dancer. Which it is. Though fairly well down the scale when compared to Chapter Five, Helen Shapiro, John Andrews, Mark Loyd etc
  12. I can concurr with this, identical thing happened with me, even to the point where I was meant to be staying at his house. This is way way back, maybe 1999/2000. I think I sold him Arthur Freeman on Jumbo (when it was still rare) for 600 quid at the time
  13. Like Roger said - definitely a demo. There are very few of these, maybe 15 to 20 red Atlantics which are proper demos like this. All are rare.
  14. Yeah I'm familiar with the label mate, just wondered if I might have any of those that he wanted. Rarest record on the label is the album by Apple "An aple a day". Col Garnett is a danceable inst version of Monday Monday. Patron Of The Arts of course\everyone knows this now. Judi Scott is a version of Evie Sands. Kevin King Lear did a reasonable version of The Snake and so on
  15. £60 to £75 tops for an issue
  16. No, Seth Martin. Honest.
  17. Jeremy Beadle?
  18. Jimmy Seals - The Yesterday Of Our Love - Challenge demo. Mint minus. £250 Bargain 01902 893569 or pete.smith@freeuk.com
