  1. Yep, I remember the first time it was uncovered after being called Jealousy for months, nobody could believe it's real title!
  2. You're right - Van McCoy - Sweet And Easy
  3. When I was recording it, Mick Smith phoned up and this was on in the background and he said what's that, an instrumental version of Ten Miles High? In parts, it sounds just like it!
  4. Got mixed up here, I thought you meant a singer called "Adele", a white girl who sounds like Amy Winehouse (or vice versa). I prefer her.
  5. Now I'm laughing at the thought of Sean trying to remember whether his mate actually did have a brother who was a milkman
  6. I remember seeing someone on ebay selling a hard drive containing about 100 computer games - how do they get away with it?
  7. Sorry! I don't of him myself but then again, I don't know anyone from over that way apart from people on here
  8. I'm really proud of all the fanzines I did but the thing I was most proud of was a photo of me and Russ Winstanley taken at Wigan in around October 1977, he was on the decks and I was sitting next to him, I look so young (I was 17), this and every one of my photos got lost in a house move in 1991 and I would honestly pay a thousand quid to get this photo back again, not that I ever will.
  9. Did he have a brother named Ernie, worked somewhere in the West?
  10. No, a f*cking barstool which just happened to be wander into the bogs. It was a joke.
  11. An original stool removed from the Wigan Casino toilets
  12. Tragic wiping that lot off, especially the youtube collection. Don't think I could do it.

  14. Every time I buy a cd, I record it to an external hard drive, consequently my hard drive contains labout a thousand cd's, plus my entire reggae vinyl collection is on there, about 400 youtube clips and loads of wigan recordings etc. If I were to sell this, am I allowed to sell it with the content intact and charge for what it contains, or would I have to wipe it? I no longer have the original cd's and these were the back up copies.
  15. They broadcast the whole of the Jimmy Cliff performance on BBC 3 and I have to say - as a long time fan - he was f*cking terrible, his voice has gone. I'd have asked for my money back. Maybe it sounded miles better live but the sound mixing for the tv did him no favours and I was actually embarassed for him at times. Got better towards the end.
  16. Yeah it is that one Brian, I forgot I had it on tape before I put it on cd.
  17. I would class that as an instrumental
  18. Booted twice actually, in both vinyl and then styrene. The vinyl ones look the part but lack the run off info of the original.
  19. It is Mark, I bought one of these (red Fame demo) in a collection a few years ago, yours is only the second one I've seen. Meanwhile...
  20. I had one on here last week for £175
  21. So we say it's £125, you say it's £200, we can't sell it and you can sell it all day. This world is f*cked up.
  22. Definitely. Think it was even booted (on a light green label)
  23. No, he sings on it, but you're right, it's an absolutely beautiful record, better than any other version
  24. Yeah it was unfortunate really Paul because it just happens to be a record I hate, if you'd have said almost anything else from that period I wouldn't have even commented
  25. Never seen a black vinyl one
