    He has replied now, very polite, said thank you for pointing out the mistake...oh, read it yourselves.. Thanks for the info. I am selling for my sister in law who assured me that they are all originals - I know nothing about 45 vinyl! I will have to wait and see what happens and offer full refund as and where necessary. You informative and polite comments are most welcome - I have now learnt not to list for others! Regards Paul

    Thats rich coming from someone with the words Blackpool Mecca as his avatar, why didn't you just use the words "Gay Disco" instead? p.s. the Dennis D'Ell is there because it's a very, very rare record on issue, not because of it's musical merits. It's a good version though.

    Thats because it's all relatively new to you and you have no history of a Northern scene, therefore you don't need the nostalgia like we do. The best times of a lot of our lives here were in the 70's, there's nothing we can do to change that.

    Whether they were meant to have vocals or not, some records are just better as instrumentals - the prime example being Double Cookin' - in fact the vocals do it down, it's great as it is. Then you've got the other end of the spectrum - records whose instrumentals are great but vocal versions are terrible - I'm thinking Liberty - Girl you better wake up, for a start

    The Jerry Gainey version appears on ebay now and again at about $50. Nice version.
