  1. My brother sat next to him this one match, Plant asked my brother if he could havge a look at his 'Load of Bull' and he forgot to give it back, so Andy wrote him a letter jokingly saying you can keep the magazine but can you send us an autographed photo or something like that, within a couple of weeks he'd received a letter, the photos, and his fanzine back.
  2. If you have a quick search you'll find some publicity shots for the group "Listen" which I posted up a couple of months back. They came from a girl who used to go out with Rob Plant at the time they released "You better run", there was a scrapbook with handwritten letters, photos, even a copy of the record - she gave it to a mate of mine. "You better run" was released at exactly the same time by The N'Betweens - two West Midlands groups releasing the same record at the same time, very strange.
  3. Do you really think that's it's appropriate for someone to say you should be "ashamed" not to like a record?
  4. You should be ashamed that you can't respect that other people have opinions different to yours, and that's a fact!
  5. Can't break the news has long peaked and is hard to sell now. Cry No More has the advantage of having a brilliant flip side. I'd ask 50 for each I think. No difference for demo/issue.
  6. Mike, Trojan have repressed the first 10 corwn label 45's including that one, pretty good lookalikes, I bought them - mainly so I could sell my Treasure Isle copy of Loving Pauper. I remember buying that Shirley Kay with no centre for a fiver in the 90's, never liked it though to be honest.
  7. Yes, I'm often called that
  8. That was quite realistic I thought. Until Sheff Utd scored a goal.
  9. Me too. Best film ever. Even better than A Clockwork Orange.
  10. Well someone offered me £70 for it which I was happy with so I just sold it.
  11. For goodness sake, who cares? It's just a film, it's not real life. I'm going to really look forward to it, whether they use original artists or top of the pops cover versions. You think advertising the name 'Eddie Parker' will attract people to the film? Of course it won't. But the name Paul Weller will. Stop being so precious everyone.
  12. As well as Sweet Sherry, I'd have to add Cigarette Ashes as being equal best track on the label
  13. Yep, sh*t quality
  14. I already did put it down for the worst. I hate those scurrying strings, it's just a mess, and those awful falsetto vocals.
  15. ALL SOLD, MANY THANKS
  16. Nah it's miles better! Incredible that they issued it as an A side in the States (think it made no.1) but it was only ever a B side in the UK.
  17. Thanks everyone. Guess it's time for me to stop giving records away

  22. Johnny Sayles - I Can't Get Enough - St Lawrence. I've always sold this is a cheapie - £20, £25. I'm staggered to see it in the price guide at £150 for the copy I have here (Chess distribution, Chicago address). This is a mint original - so is that £150 price accurate - has anyone ever known a copy sell for that much?
