  1. https://pages.ebay.co.uk/pricechange08/index.html#fees I pity those who have ebay shops - basic shop goes up from £6 a month to £14.99 a month!!!

  8. Looks like it's one of those few records where you either love it hate it and there's no middle ground!
  9. Think he did, but thats been lost in the mists of time, that would have been 92-93 These might jog a few memories...God those covers, I had most of those records.. https://roundblackrecords.piczo.com/soulmags(2)?cr=2
  10. Example: 51. CONNIE VAN DYKE - DON'T DO NOTHING (Wheelsville) DreadFul Detroit dancer, sounds more like Dick Van Dyke. (1)
  11. It is funny if you read it back!
  12. Frank Furter & The Hot Dogs still can't get over this - one of the worst names ever, but a totally brilliant record /Rarest-...oup-t78479.html
  13. I remember doing a topic like this about 4 years ago, saying that some of these singers, if they'd been at school when I was there would have had the mick taken out of them something rotten...names like Wilbur, Pimbrock, Stanley, Percy, Albert, Wasington for goodness sake...
  14. In all honestly, I think I did review this at some point and I absolutely loved it (still do), you know that 100 Newies reviewd article, well I reprinted it here and you're right, it was hilarious, but you know what - I didn't get any comments about me saying every record was sh*t, just "how can you say thats a newie, I knew it years ago" it's still up here somewhere. Your hatred of PW, S & H is akin to mine of the Carstairs so I know what you mean
  15. Scan something, reduce it to 25% size using Irfanview or a similar program, click upload, there you go...
  16. I thought it was odd when I was the only bidder on it when I got it off Ebay!

  21. Thanks for the info mate.
  22. I did the other day and it said n/a
  23. I usually sell The Astors - In the twilight zone / Mystery woman - Stax, for about 40 quid but I've searched the net and I can't find one for sale, so now that Mystery Woman is getting played as well - what do we reckon, about 60? What about this one, I've never even heard of it but it's more R&B than Northern, The Soul Shakers - I'm Pressing On - Teem 1009. Don't know if it's the same group as on Loma, no indication as to where the label is from. cheers pete
  24. There are no UK Major Minor demos Julian. The sleeves were usually marked as promos.
