They weren't all great tunes back then though. The Petals - You can't close the windows to your heart. Need I say more. Yes, I do need to say more. Cack.
Don't know what Ian thinks but I heard another one of her singles today and it was so boring...hadn't got a hook, chord change, anything. Sorry can't remember what it was called. Mercy was a fairly good novelty hit though.
No you're toeing the line and handling everyone very well I reckon. It's also a good idea using the 'this user is being ignored' thing, you'll have to show me how to do it so I don't have to read half the sh*t some of these people write.
Didn't say it was did I, I was commenting on the large amount of people involved in it, you see I don't know if you know this but 50 is a number which is larger than the usual 5 people who watch normal threads
It began with rhythm & blues not Dean Barlow style pop crap, don't hold that up as some kind of beacon cos that record and all of it's ilk are a huge stain on the northern scene. Proper R&B is the roots.
Well thanks Ian. Though I have to add that I don't dislike all 70's, some of my all time favourite records are 70's: Towaway Zone, tell Me Why, Billy Woods, Skullsnaps, The Nights when you dropped your guard and so on.
OK I've found a clip, it means you have to listen to Trevor Nelson though - anyway if you go here
https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/nelson/musicthis.shtml
and use the listen again feature and move it to 37 minutes, you can hear the track.
After all that, you'll probably hate it
