  1. So, keep your German system and sensibilities mate oh sorry, didn't realise you weren't talking about Herr Levine, that well known German
  2. That in in itself is a pretty disgusting post addressed to a German member of the forum
  3. Shocking spelling of the word dealt!

  5. I've had loads of threatening/abusive emails since I've been on here, some for just hating The Carstairs record - you wouldn't believe it, honestly. I've never printed any of them though.
  6. Whats that got to do with the forum? (James' private message)
  7. Look just because you've only just sold your Amiga and got a pc doesn't mean that the majority of us weren't online in the 90's. January 1997 for me and nearly everyone involved in the Rocket and Dome stuff was online and had websites. Do your own research if you don't believe me. Ask Nick Brown, Irish Greg, Stuart T, Alan H.
  8. They don't like Kev because they believe that money is his only motivation. Simple as that.
  9. No the majority of people did have interenet access. How do I know, because I know most of the people involved, or did do. Not in the sense I was in some kind of weird inner circle but I do or did know a lot of people back then.
  10. Ah, another normal day at the office stay cool everyone
  11. Ask Greg, Stuart etc. They'll remember it well. It was a piss-take - but not funny if you were Ian or anyone else involved in The Rocket p.s. I did go to The Dome and I loved it though the cloakroom girl was a bit of a boiler
  12. many people connected with Scenesville and The Dome made it their business to see that The Rocket failed solely because of Ian Levine's involvement. A rival allnighter was set up specifically to clash with The Rocket. Emails from Ian Levine were photocopied and blown up in size and posted all over The Dome. An anti-Rocket website was set up for all and sundry to slag off Levine and The Rocket.
  13. Not sure what this means but I haven't spoken or corresponded with Ian for weeks before he joined Soul Source so he's not pulling my strings like some Thunderbird puppet you can bet if I disagreed with him - or anyone for that matter - I would not be frightened to say so and never have been.
  14. I don't remember The Rocket promotors setting up a website to try to kill off attendances at the Dome.
  15. Superb singer - loved the record too til right at the end when the backing singers got too loud, but hey, I'm no record producer. Love the pizzicato strings at the end. Re the Sharleen Spiteri record - I like her voice and I liked the sound of that track, but I thought the song lacked a decent chorus. Pete Smith, Jukebox Jury, West Midlands
  16. Let us know how you get on
  17. This one was just a joke Steve, I do like it really. Hate Bobby Kline though. ANS was or is a Northern Soul forum helmed at one time by Ian Levine
  18. Dunno but I wish he'd broke the rest of the copies
  19. I do - I just don't buy them cos nobody buys them off me!
  20. I know Ady, and it's years ago and is not important and I wasn't even there - but I'm just stating the fact that there was a very nasty website set up, as nasty as Neil Rushton setting one up just to slag me off when I criticised ANS (hello Neil )

  22. So one of the biggest critics and sabateours of the Rocket is standing outside handing out his own flyers. What a brass neck. If it'd been my venue I'd have set fire to his flyers.
